RnB | Get Familiar With Slip-N-Slide’s Brand New “Streetlights” Single By Teenear

Posted by on May 13, 2016

The storied Miami based record label, Slip-N-Slide Records, that’s responsible for breaking artists like Rick Ross, Plies, Trina, Plies, and Trick Daddy is back with a brand new artist that just dropped an infectious new RnB inspired singled titled “Streetlights” that I suspect the FreshNewTracks.com faithful will dig. Produced by Malkia “Milk” Hornsy and Kazha “Sizz” Hornsby, “Streetlights” is a dreamy record that details Teenear’s struggle with balancing a love life with a career in music. Dreamy and melodic, “Streetlights” is a precursor to bigger records, dropping this summer via Slip-N-Slide Records.

Albums | Urban Dance | JOYRYDE Feat. RICK RO$$ – WINDOWS

Posted by on January 12, 2016

With support from the likes of DJ Snake, Major Lazer, Big Gigantic, Yellow Claw, Tchami, Jauz, Knife Party, NGHTMRE, GRiZ, Ephwurd, Ghastly, and more, Joyryde is up next. Kicking off 2016 with 160bpm Urban Dance joint. Originally written for a collaboration between Joyryde & Shaquille O’neal, a Rick Ross vocal was used in place, SHAQ sent the record to his homie Ross who loved the record. The decision was made to release it with its native Rick Ross feature. That ‘Rosé Swurve’ vibe.

Bass, Electro, Future Trap, Hip-Hop, Trap | FNT Exclusive Premiere: Rick Ross – Hustlin’ (Westside Hill Remix)

Posted by on June 30, 2015

20 year old producer from the westside of LA, Westside Hill is an upcoming edm trap producer that finds his roots in the mixtape sphere of the hip hop genre. His energy at the peak of a song equals that of an RL grime drop but his bass lines sound straight out of a waka flocka mixtape. This song is a dirty trap banger that you can throw on in any raging setting. Everyone knows the line “every day I’m hustlin” and everyone is ready to go dumb to a dope trap drop. Check out this song, and enjoy!

Hip-Hop, Rap | .OZ x DreDream – Made Men (feat. Rick Ross) [Remix]

.OZ x DreDream [Remix] - Made Me (feat. Rick Ross)

This is probably .OZ‘s biggest sound yet, and when I say big, I mean more along the lines of it BANGS. This remix is the perfect integration of original sound vs new sound. I feel like a lot of artists are trying to hit that medium recently and .OZ along with DreDream have accomplished it nicely. After the release of his first EP 4 months ago “Just Kick It”, .OZ plans to come back with singles stronger and headier than ever before.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Azad Right – Self Made [Music Video]

Poised with determination and a willingness to succeed, Azad Right showcases his self made talent on his newest video single off his upcoming project, For The Hopeful.  Rick Ross may be the most noteworthy, overweight character to coin the phrase, “Self Made”, but Azad’s resume validates the truth in this record, as he simultaneously pays respect to those who have come before him.

Rozay releases the anticipated song The Devil Is A Lie with Jay Z today and it was well worth the wait. The combo of Ross and Jay is one of my favorites in hip hop and I hope more is to come after this and You Know I Got It. Look for Bosses album  MasterMind  at the beginning of 2014.

Hip-Hop | Asher Roth – Pop Radio x Pearly Gates

Asher Roth is back to offer up some new knowledge, first for his original single “Pop Radio”, followed by a freestyle over Mobb Deep’s legendary “Pearly Gates”. The former of the two is classic Asher, packed with assonance and witty rhymes that lighten up the more serious message within the song.

In “Pearly Gates”, Roth discusses his struggles within the industry thus far.

“Rick Ross can be a cop, Drake ‘started from the bottom’? No offense, I don’t wanna start a problem but come on, all I ever did was tell you I was a champ at beer pong.”

There is no doubt that Asher has to battle everyday with the image that his hit college music shows him in, however, as soon as people start opening their ears to how much substance is really behind each line, it will only be a matter of time before Ash takes off.

Be sure to download Asher’s new mixtape The Greenhouse Effect Vol. 2, out tomorrow!
