Over 20 years into his lengthy career, EDX is still managing to stay on top of his game with his evolving sound. Currently, his brand of house lies in the mellower regions of deep house, a progression from his driving progressive house that he was known for earlier in his career. In 2008, one of EDX’s biggest tunes was his remix of Dubfire’s “Roadkill,” and now, it’s seeing new light thanks to EDX’s brand new, “Ibiza Sunrise” remix of the track that is sure to dominate this summer. Check out the remix above.

He has added himself to a roster of artists who have attempted to share their creative vision for this tune, however, this one stands out as pristine. Close your eyes, and happy travels.

Four months after Slander drops their iconic track “Breathe”, the duo follows up with a euphoric remix of Kill The Noise’s “Kill It 4 The Kids.” The track is introduced by a beautifully reminiscent piano bit, which quickly transforms into an empowered build-up. Chopped vocals accompanied by a familiar lead in the background drive up the energy of this track leading into a drop that can only be described as “Dirty.” Slander has proven once again that they have become a master of high-energy production… and with this latest remix, they don’t disappoint.
“For this song we wanted to create a dynamic piece with a subtle intro building up into the heavier side of our style. We hope you guys enjoy it! Massive thank you to Kill The Noise and OWSLA for this opportunity.” – Slander

Electro-House, Electronic, Indie, Mainstream Remix | Electronic, Remix |Wheathin Drops Festival Ready Remix of Elohim’s “Sensations”
Posted by VMan on May 17, 2016
If you’re not a fan of Wheathin already, allow me to convert you. Remember the Elohim track “Sensations” that dropped about a month ago? Well he just released a remix of it, and it’s even catchier than the original.
He leaves the verse relatively untouched, allowing Elohim’s vocals to carry you through the musical backdrop. With rhythmic hand claps and an epic synth-laden drop, this track is both chilled and dance-worthy. The 17-year-old producer has been crafting an impressive array of tracks lately, including remixes of Louis The Child, Ty Dolla $ign, and a collaborative remix with Next Wave artist Bearson.
It seems his forte is taking unexpected indie and pop tracks and painting them with his metaphoric electronic brush. On this one, he turns Elohim’s mysterious and sensual release and turns it into a huge, festival ready banger. Check out the rest of his music on SoundCloud and grab a limited free download while you can.

“Tank Girls” was a standout record for Apashe in 2015. That’s saying a lot for a guy who put out a VIP for his viral song “No Twerk” along with landing licensing deals with Adidas, HBO and more. Kannibalen Records commissioned some remixes for Apashe’s 2015 original, and released them today on the Tank Girls Remix EP. The first is by the Italian artist Razihel, who has been one of Monstercat’s strongest artists. His remix is a light-hearted trap take, whereas 8Er$ brings his bass heavy, hybrid trap style. With the third remix, Son Of Kick brings a dark, drum & bass tune that shows off his hometown of London’s influence on him. Lastly, Zeskullz put together a remix that resembles the style and sound of the original, but brings a more housey vibe. Leave it to Kannibalen to bring top quality remixes to their top quality originals.

No Funks Given is back with their first remix. The California duo put out their take on Tony Sour’s “Sour Patch Bounce” for free today, which is good because you’re going to want it. They turn things up with their eclectic sound that moves between electro and breakbeat. With this remix they bring a bit more of a traditional style, but the duo’s wacky sentiments do seep through, giving the track a fun edge to it. As the lyrics state, “It’s a party in the house,” and that party has started thanks to No Funks Given. In talking with them about this remix, they stated they have some more remixes coming soon, but first you can expect some more original material. For now, enjoy their free remix!
