Released last year during the Summer of Rad, “Santa Barbara” was the trio, Radical Something’s, tribute to the aforementioned California beach-town and the feel-good vibes it brings. The band is going on a small summer tour, but the bulk of these coming hot months will be dedicated to bringing you all the best music you could ask for. Having seen them in concert myself I can vouch that it is a show you won’t want to miss. So if you do see your local venue on this list of tour stops, don’t hesitate to snatch up some tickets!
I have my last final exam tomorrow and I can guarantee I’ll be bumping this all the way home from school, you should too!.

Lets take a break from the music quick, well almost, to check out this amazing cliff jumping video by Devin Supertramp. If you’ve never heard of Devin he’s one of the biggest YouTube video makers in the world with nearly 200,000,000 views! You’re probably wondering why I would post this on here, but the reason is that Devin chose to cut this video to Radical Something’s latest tune “Step Right Up”. That’s definitely really big for them. Be on the lookout for some new Radical Something videos coming very soon as they just finished up their tour. Also check out Devin’s channel as he has tons of great extreme videos!

After filling our Summer with continuous new music releases, Radical Something is back. This time they give us an electro infused version of their song “Say Yes“, remixed by Big Red. To accompany the song they created a montage of videos that were filmed entirely from Big Red’s iPhone during their recent Fall tour. Speaking of tour, Radical Something is gearing up to hit the road this Thursday to embark on their Radical Republic Tour. Be sure to catch them in a city near you and lookout for details on their new album coming soon!

If you need some funky electronic jams to chill out to this week, Bass Physics is your answer. This duo has been coming up quickly in Colorado playing with names such as Minnesota & Zion I, Radical Something, and Savoy (Feb 2013). These guys are producing some of the best funky electronic jams I’ve heard in a while. Sick electro-house accompanied by live guitar (think Big Gigantic but guitar), Bass Physics is sure to be a standout act soon. This track marks the grand finale of the #SummerOfRad series! The Cali trio saved their best for last with their newest video, “Naked In Venice”. It was directed by Shannen Doherty, best known for her part in 90210. I’ve got to say she did a great job coming up with a video that fit this song perfectly. You can catch Charmed co-star, Holly Marie Combs, making a cameo appearance with Josh Cocktail. Be on the lookout next Monday for the release of the Summer of Rad album which will include all the tracks from the series, along with Fall tour announcement!
