Electronic | Max Elto – Shadow Of The Sun (Adventure Club Remix)
Posted by Mel on June 25, 2014
The original mix of Max Elto’s “Shadow Of The Sun” is superb and so is the Mako remix. The progressive house route had been exhausted and could not be topped anyway, so having Adventure Club take a go at remixing it was a good idea. Unsurprisingly, they did a great job. A slow piano starts the song off with the help of the fantastically reworked vocals. The drums and synths then come in and eventually build up to the almost dubstep like drop. This is an all around great track and they are giving it away for free.

Chill, Trap | WRLD – Orbit (feat. Richard Caddock)
Posted by BP on June 4, 2014
Monstercat presents “Orbit (feat. Richard Caddock)” by WRLD today! For those that aren’t familiar, WRLD is a 16 year old producer from the Netherlands that will blow your socks off. The piano and jazzy drums start this track off with a chill feel. It moves into more of a trap-ish vibe as the song progresses, and compliments the vocals nicely. If this synth filled, sultry jam appeals to you it is available on Itunes and Beatport.
Bass | L A Y L A – Smokestacks (Mountain Of Youth Remix)

Doing some crate digging, this remix by Mountain Of Youth of L A Y L A’s “Smokestacks” happened to be streaming on my SoundCloud without even me paying attention until the track hit the 2 minute mark, and I’m like “what is this? This is dope!.” What they call Music for your Soul at 100 BPM, they sure do explore new depths. With a combination of wind chimes, piano chords that I could only decribe by comparing them to those 2 notes that start playing in 90’s detective movies when you know shit’s about to go down, and some futuristic bass, you’re in for a treat. This is a must listen, and support by buying this on iTunes!
Deep House | Fabich & Ferdinand Weber, Dinnerdate – Souls Together
Posted by Middy on May 14, 2014
It’s late, you want something chill to wind down after a long day. In steps Dinnerdate country mates Fabich & Ferdinand Weber, who you may know under their alias Juun for a special, soothing deep house gem. Fully equipped with male vocal hooks and female shouts, the tune meanders along fluttering drums, chords and piano that come together exquisitely. Dinnerdate has been a solo operator to this point, but after seeing this track, I really hope he does more collabs.

Electronic | JMSN – Thing U Miss (The Ninetys Remix)
Posted by BP on April 25, 2014
Today was a good day, because The Ninetys put out a new remix. This is my fifth post of The Ninetys in the last year (whoops, The Ninetys rules) so you know it has got to be good! JMSN’s “Thing U Miss” is given a new twist here. It’s got a more ambient feel, which is a bit different for The Ninetys but it works really well. Speedy drums carry the piano melody along, giving it life and charisma. The track is emotional and smooth. It’s hard to categorize, but a fun listen – grab it for free!
Chill, Pop | MisterWives – Money On My Mind
Posted by admin on March 23, 2014
A few days back a new cover titled, “Money On My Mind”, graced my inbox. Now, going in to this I was hesitant as I am with any cover, especially since Sam Smith had done such an amazing job on the original. However, to my pleasant surprise, the MisterWives did not disappoint.
I’m a little late to the party on this song, so hopefully this will reach all of the ears that missed it the first time around! The harmonious vocals perfectly complement the simple piano and drums to create a sound that will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
Enjoy this freebie cover and be ready for more original content coming soon.

The Chainsmokers keep their stream of official remixes coming with their own take on Chromeo’s “Jealous”. They ease into it in this one with first two sevenths of the song being carried by piano before letting the energy flow for the rest of the track. This is already the duo’s seventh release of the year and they just keep on impressing. The song will be available April 4th on iTunes.
