RnB | Dear Jane’s New “Dear Jane” Single & EP Is A Must Listen
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 17, 2017
When No Requests sends us music, we listen. It’s rare that we hear an artist that immediately grabs our attention. Dear Jane (also known as Tammy Infusino) accomplished that, and then some. Her brand new “Dear Jane” EP produced by Nico Cary and Rafael Casal is six tracks of atmospheric, dark, and mysterious RnB that we can’t get enough of. A honest rendition of someone who can’t stop making bad decisions (we’ve all been there) Dear Jane’s “EP” and title track is a refreshingly raw project, exploring failed relationships, heartbreak, and instability. Did we mention you’ll have it on play for weeks to come?

Looking for a little story to go along with your music? Good because our boy, Autumn In June has quite the backstory. Born and raised in South Central LA, Autumn built his own DIY studio in his dad’s backyard using some 2×4’s and a little elbow grease. Having grown up in the heart of LA, AJ was brought up on a plethora of different styles of music and artists. In his most recent release, the wunderkind expertly layers golden piano chords and new wave strings with heavenly vocals and an upbeat 90s electro-funk beat. This kid is blowing up all over the place friends, don’t miss the hype train because it’s already halfway out of the station.
Bass, Trap | LUUDE Drops VIP Edit of Booming Trap Banger, “Sooo”
Posted by VMan on December 9, 2016
Off rip LUUDE’s new song “Sooo (VIP)” caught me off guard, but in the best way possible with it’s incredibly menacing soundscape. As it continues to evolve, it grew on me more thanks to the well placed vocal samples that are used as percussive instrumentation and once that sub kicks it this song goes to the next level in my book. While the production is very unorthodox, to me, their is still a feel-good pop flair to it at times and that’s what really resonated with me. LUUDE is a creative, forward-thinking producer who deserves more recognition and I’m calling it now in 2017 he’ll pop off because of quality music like “Sooo (VIP).” So check it out now above!
Electronic | Villms Creates Feel-Good Future Bass Remix Of Steve James’s “Renaissance”
Posted by VMan on December 5, 2016
Up-and-coming DJ/producer Villms takes a shot at remixing Steve James’s “Renaissance”, he’s on to something. The solo producer has relatable story – he’s single, young, an undergrad, essentially a bedroom producer, and has a mad passion to get his music out there and climb the ranks.
“Renaissance Ft. Clairity (Villms Remix)” takes the hit song and adds smooth future bass chords and high pitched vocals within the drop, as well as fresh drums attached to the original throughout. The elements are common in 2016, but undoubtedly enhance the vibe of the original.
Villms doesn’t look to be slowing anytime soon, catch more of his new music in 2017 and enjoy his latest remix above.
