Alternative, RnB | Shoffy – Break The Rules
Posted by BIGLIFE on June 1, 2015
Just got this sent over to me, Shoffy, a new artist making some super classic RnB vibes and adding his own flare. I have been following his music for the past few months and I am so impressed with the quality. Not only is he making killer hooks, he is also producing all of the tunes he is putting out! Either way, grab the download above and take a listen to this great new release.

This coming Monday, Black Butter will be making their first official foray in the birthplace of techno, Detroit, with its party on Monday, May 25th at Populux, where Gorgon City, Kidnap Kid, MK b2b Lee Foss, Dantiez Saunderson, Loud Luxury, and Admn will all be gracing the decks. For a UK label, the significance of this is very special as it is a time to prove themselves in a place where dance music roots run deep, and fans are well educated in underground spheres and beyond. Rather than Black Butter’s Detroit showcase being thought of as a judgement day of sorts, it’s more of a display of artistry that can be enjoyed by the masses. In celebration of the party, we’ve put together a showcase to highlight the top talent that will be guiding the Populux crowd to underground dance music enlightenment. Check it out below and grab tickets to the party here.
• Gorgon City
• Kidnap Kid
• MK
• Lee Foss
• Dantiez Saunderson
• Loud Luxury
• ADMN

House | Hardsoul & Dirty Freek have summers number on speed dial
Posted by Meezy on May 13, 2015
A little late on this track, but it is too good not to post. The amount of times I’ve listened to this song in the last week is almost embarrassing. Hardsoul & Dirty Freek have produced an absolute jam and its called “Just Another Face”. Our boy Pete Tong played it about 2 months ago, but I hadn’t come across it until now. But hey… good music is good music, rather be late than never. I’m not gonna say much more and let the track do the talking.
PS. Don’t feel ashamed to replay this one countless times, I did the same thing
Bass | Grabbitz Reconstructs Karma Field’s ‘Build The Cities’
Posted by JT on May 13, 2015
Ladies and gentlemen he is back. Grabbitz has time-after-time impressed the kid with the flawless production and the thoughtful construction of music that he has brought to the table. At this point anything ‘Grabbitz’ branded will sky rocket to the top. This remix to the already powerful original is so smooth, which is a weird term to use for someone who uses heavy bass crunches on repeat. Don’t sleep on this fat remix – grab it.
Progressive House | Tiesto exposes summer anthem FAWL
Posted by Meezy on May 7, 2015
Tiesto has always had a knack for finding awesome music and he proves himself yet again with the latest premiere “FAWL”. I’ll be honest, it takes a lot for a progessive house tune to catch my attention as of lately, however, this one did just that. It’s got it all. Vocal chops (which I’m an absolute sucker for), heavy synths and a beat that hits hard. The artist is still unknown, but I have my guesses. Think about it. Who’s been producing this sound as of lately as well as working with Tiesto? (watch his new 7UP commercial cough* cough*)… that’s all I’m saying. This one comes out June 12th, so keep an eye out.
