Electro-House, Videos | Tommy Trash – Monkey In Love (Video)

Posted by on July 15, 2013

Tommy Trash Monkey In LoveAs a follow-up to his previous music video for “Monkey See, Monkey Do“, Tommy Trash presents the visuals to his single coming on Size Records next Monday, “Monkey In Love”. Using the same monkey, the video follows him as he is engaged in a steamy romance with a smokeshow of a brunette (Mia Doran) and their activities throughout some deindustrialized center. Watch the weirdly hot video below and be on the lookout for this track next Monday, the 22nd.

Electronic, Indie | Portugal. The Man – Purple Yellow Red & Blue (Passion Pit Remix)

Posted by on July 8, 2013

“Purple Yellow Red & Blue” has easily been one of my most played songs so far this summer. I actually enjoyed all of Portugal. The Man’s latest album, Evil Friends, which was produced by Danger Mouse. This remix by Passion Pit, though, turns the indie rock track into a groovy nu disco ballad, giving it even more colors than it started it out with. For fans of the original, you may be a little turned off by what Passion Pit did here with the chorus but give it a chance and just dance. Also, if you haven’t seen the official music video, stop whatever you’re doing, make sure there’s no one around you, and watch it here.

Dubstep, Featured, Trap, Videos | Hopscotch – Emotion (Official Video)

Posted by on May 21, 2013

I love this song, ever since it came out a few months ago it has been listened to almost every day and it is not even close to getting old for me. Hopscotch released the official music video today and knowing the track as I do, I had high expectations. Those expectations were met then passed, never ceasing to make you feel the incredible emotion that this song is. The video itself is hot, steamy black and white with a little bit of witchcraft. If you haven’t downloaded this song yet, I highly recommend it.

Hip-Hop | Maxxx Flair — Wake Up [EP]

Posted by on May 19, 2013

Wake Up Artwork Large

After premiering two impressive leaks from this lyrically-gifted Yonkers emcee, his new EP Wake Up is here in full. While his past releases have highlighted his rapidly-growing skill as a writer and technical rapper, Wake Up is by far his most consistent record to date, and with a decidedly more reflective sound, Maxxx’s personality begins to shine on the record as we hear more of his story. In conjunction with the EP release, we also have the music video to his lead single, “Feels Right”, featuring Sunny Jones, who also produced the majority of the record. Enjoy the tape, and keep up with Maxxx Flair as I know he has some great work ahead of him.
