Future Trap | “Felicity” produced by Leat’Eq, Wanna Wake, and featuring Haley Gorman Puts The “Bass” In Future Bass

Posted by on September 21, 2016

Daily Earfood has been on role when it comes to finding small artist with big sounds, they’ve done it again with the release of “Felicity”, a song `that proves this trio can stand on their own feet – a breaking point for artists who seem somewhat new to the dance music game as a living.

I hope Leat’Eq and Wanna Wake work together again, future bass is a very saturated market/sound right now, but they’ve found a way to approach the genre freshly and deliver something that goes above and beyond the call of duty. Haley Gorman is the strings that pull the package together though – very soothing style here.

Electro, Mix, Trap | Hard Summer Future Stars Mini-Mix #5 feat. Keys N Krates

Posted by on May 30, 2013

Okay woah, I’m just gonna cut to the chase here and say this mix is BANGIN – Keys N Krates is proving themselves as a serious predator in the music game right now. This has got pretty much every track that you need to play at your parties if you ever want anyone to have any sort of fun right here, perfectly transitioning one into the next. Granted, my favorite parts are Keys N Krates original songs, especially I Just Can’t Deny (7:25). And you know, I can’t deny that this will probably be the only thing I listen to for the rest of the weekend.

As you can see, this is the 5th installment of HARD’s Future Stars Mini-Mix Series, which has so far featured Paper Diamond, Jerome LOL & Samo Sound Boy, Green Lantern and Justin Jay. You can check out those sets and many more here (can’t promise they’ll be as good as this one though…!)

Hip-Hop | Childish Gambino – We Ain’t Them

Posted by on May 17, 2012

After embarking on a twitter rant for the record books, Donald Glover graced us with the link to a new track in between defending himself from internet nobodies. It frustrates me seeing how this guy is treated(and tweeted). People need to accept Childish Gambino for what he is. He’s a comedian, who can make a damn good beat, and kills it every time. His talents are un matched in the music game right now, and also has the ability to produce, act, all the while getting laughs, and hate. This hate has made him who he is, if he didn’t get hated on, he would probably run out of material, being that most of his songs are reflective of his past. Without further adieu, I’ll let you dissect Gambino’s newest track, We Ain’t Them. And haters, try this, stop having a preconcieved notion in your head of what a rapper is SUPPOSED to be, and just try and enjoy the damn music.

DO SOMETHING

Hip-Hop, Videos | PropaneLv – Blackout(Prod. D.Shuts & DJ Frank-DuX)

Posted by on March 27, 2012

PropaneLv drops off the latest visuals for one of his break out tracks. Solid flow from the Portland native. With deep, meaningful lyrics.

“General consensus is he’s f*cking amazing. His mother thinks he’s handsome, his friends think he’s talented and all his ex girlfriends have moved on to bigger and better things. His musical influences are limited to the song “Don’t Stop Believing” by the super group Journey. He’s passionate about Music, light skinned women, the Atlanta Hawks, and Tarvaris Jackson.”

The short paragraph above was an excerpt from Propane’s Facebook bio. If this gives any insight into his personality, he’s flipping hilarious. Although there’s a lot of people in the music game that have solid flow, many of them lack something: lyrical content. I think everyone will find Blackout’s lyrics relatable and understandable.

Electro, Hip-Hop | Childish Gambino – Freaks and Geeks (Star Slinger Remix) | Hip-Hop

Here’s a sick “electrified” remix to Freaks and Geeks. If you have yet to take a leap of faith with Childish, now is the time. I’ll admit that I was skeptical at first – too many celebrities seem to be tainting the music game with their rubbish these days – fortunately Gambino doesn’t fall under that standard. If he continues to put out witty bars and tasteful productions he could easily become a big name in the rising star game.

Albums, Mashups | DJ Epic & Relentless – “The Goods” EP | Mash-Up

Posted by on March 4, 2011

The White Panda better watch out, there is a new duo in town. DJ Epic has been a member of the music game for about 5 years now and is most famous for his EP, “Pregame Music Vol. 1.” Relentless however has been making hip-hop since the age of 16, but after attending a Deadmau5 concert this past summer he was sold on electro and house. There was a lot of doubt going around wether or not these two could deliver it being Relentless’ first EP, but DAMN. This EP is AMAZING, every track on this is a BANGER. DOWNLOAD THE EP HERE.
