It’s mid-morning already over here in snowy Sweden and I have not been able to bring myself to even think of stepping foot outside by bed until catching not one but TWO Carmack releases on his Soundcloud. The first, “sunday into monday funk” has proved to be my saving grace in dispelling any case of the Mondaze I might have encountered (with a little help from Earth, Wind & Fire), while the second, “by kaytra and me,” provides all the vibes you’d expect to hear in a collaboration between these two extraordinary producers.
Better indulge in these quick considering how quickly Carmack has been switching out the tracks on his Soundcloud as these are not to be missed.

House, Videos | Disclosure – When A Fire Starts To Burn (Official Video)

Disclosure’s album “Settle” is finally going to be released on Monday, and the latest single previewed from the album “When A Fire Starts To Burn”, now has its music video to match the track. The video takes you to a church with people feeling the power of god taking over their body and from that, some wild things happen, notably towards the end. The album comes this monday, so pre-order it here, and until then watch this video from the increasingly popular UK garage brother duo.

Damn, now this is a true ravers party jam. Those of you that DJ, you have to save this for the coming weekend. Philly Blunt did some cool work to this, making this exactly what you want out of a heavy electro track. Tuesday or not, time to bust out to this one.
Events, Preview, Progressive House | Avicii – Last Dance (Preview) + US Tour

Last night Avicii premiered his upcoming single “Last Dance” previously known as “Somacho” on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection show. It is an old song from him so some of you may not be familiar with the track, but this is one to be reckoned with and is defintely different from the track he used to play out in late 2010, early 2011. This will be released “soon” on Warner Music. I hope this a start of a trend for Avicii to release the songs he has had lying around for years. Cannot be certain but with this track getting a release and his collaboration with Nicky Romero “Nicktim” (official preview below) getting set for release, we can hope he will be releasing some of those gems in that vault of Avicii tracks.
Avicii is coming back to the US this summer for as he says “His biggest tour yet”, going to the biggest arenas and stadiums all across the US. This tour will be something massive and you will not want to pass up the opportunity to see Avicii in this type of a venue. Tickets go on sale at 12pm on MONDAY, so get your cash in hand and be ready. Dates and more info after the jump.
