Pretty upset how long this one has been sitting in my inbox, I have been slacking lately. Making his FNT debut with Cocaine Cinderella is Jute$. The Toronto based Jute$ has an extremely unique sound that really connected with me. Despite being mostly a hip hop/ pop/ alternative listener in 2016, back in the day I grew up on a lot of alternative rock/emo/scream music. Jute$ brought back all the feels with Cocaine Cinderella as it reminded me of an eclectic blend of Blackbear, Mod Sun and some of my favorite alternative bands from way way wayyyyy back.

As the release of TJ Hickey’s forthcoming project ‘Undeniable‘ continues to creep upon us, TJ hit FNT up to premiere a brand new jaunt featuring the smooth vocals of Jared Evan and everyone’s favorite hippy Mod Sun. The new joint ‘Like The Weekend‘ is far more laid back than anything we have heard from TJ to date.

A little over a year ago we shot the Huey Mack Uncovered interview which included some footage in Mod Sun’s home studio. That night this song came into fruition, along with “Nightstand” which was previously released. Now we finally have the finished cut of the Ed Sheeran sampled remix. Enjoy.

Having an opportunity to travel the country sharing good vibrations with thousands and thousands of fans is far fetched for many of us. The duo native to Massachusetts has been privileged with the opportunity to tour the beautiful US of A on several occasions. On their latest tour with Hoodie Allen, Jared Evan, and Mod Sun, David and Carter found it fitting to shoot visuals for their most recent single “Take It Wrong” across various scenery in some of their favorite cities. I feel guilty for sitting on this for the past week without posting. I’m sure the loyal Fresh Aer breathers have already inhaled this free EP, but for those who haven’t, I highly suggest taking a long deep breath and listening through.
With summer around the corner (hopefully) for us Northerners, Aer decides it’s only right to share some freebies with their fans to honor their continued loyalty. Although these may only be low tide tracks in comparison to what they’re going to hit us with this summer, I’ve looped this in full at least once daily since it dropped. Fire.
