SMLE, hailing from Miami, comes in hot with this remix to Alicia Key’s “You Don’t Know My Name”, and I am loving every second of it. It gives off a real airy and romantic feeling, then the main drums come out of left field and throw the listener for a loop. Everything about this track is super smooth, exhibiting SMLE’s production capability. Must listen, accompanied by a free download… doesn’t get much better. Peep it.

Progressive House | Martin Garrix and Tiesto Release “Only Way Is Up” on Musical Freedom
Posted by BIGLIFE on May 4, 2015
Here at FreshNewTracks.com, we’re not big on progressive house. Why you ask? Because it’s wanna-be top 40 recycled ghost-produced garbage. This new Martin Garrix and Tiesto collaboration out today on Musical Freedom is straight fire. We first heard it at Ultra in Miami, and couldn’t wait for the release date. Now it’s here and Spinnin’ Records has been kind enough to release the video. I’d rag on the awkward Tiesto cameos, but it’s not worth it. This “Only Way Is Up” single is a big ole’ tune.

Diplo’s record label Mad Decent is about to make waves again with the recent release of their new ep “Control“. Featuring the up and coming 21 year old Miami based producer Ricky Remedy, the first track is sure to catch your attention and leave you wanting more. Ricky starts off with “Make Me”, a powerful trap banger boasting “ugh” as almost the only lyric. Don’t worry though, the lack of lyrics is made up for by the pure energy Ricky brings to the table. Once you start listening it’s hard not to get sucked in and soon you’ll be replaying this one. Check it out through the free download below and show Ricky Remedy some support over on his Soundcloud page.

Alternative, Chill, House | XYLØ – America (Vasta Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on April 3, 2015
I recently heard the original of this tune and I fell in love, and then this remix came out of nowhere from unknown Miami newcomer Vasta. I spent some time trying to connect the dots and to learn some more about this artist, but still have yet to find any. The massive piano’s and the catchy house drums pair perfectly with brother and sister duo XYLØ, one of the most buzzing acts on the internet! I think of pool parties and springtime, and just want to chant America each time I hear the melodies. I hope you dig this as much as I do, and make sure you grab the free download above!
Progressive House | Henrix & Sevag – Latina

Can you feel that bounce? Originally part of Cr2 Records Ibiza compilation earlier this summer, the full version of “Latina” has now hit stores. Two lovers of fine Latin women, it was fitting that these two would name a track after something like they are very fond for. As irresistible as a beautiful Latin woman on the beach of Miami, the tune comes at you an infectious groove and blaring horns. Grab this one below and get ready for more of these two.

Albums, Interviews | Just Blaze DjCityTV Interview

Shout out to DJCity for sending over their latest interview with Just Blaze! Having met the veteran legendary producer a few weeks ago, and hearing the man speak the truth on the current state of the music scene, and his transition into the DJ realm, I felt the need to share this. I had a chance to catch him live in Miami, as he filled in for a set after Kaytranada, and I can tell you for a fact the man does more than push buttons, going as far as beatboxing on the mic when the sound system accidentally shut off, to keep the party going! Respect to DJCity, and respect to Just Blaze! This is a must watch interview!
