House | Brick’s “Off The Rack” Tells A House Story Worth Sharing

Posted by on August 29, 2016

I’m not sure if its the low pitched vocals, the in your face basslines, or the squirmy vibrato laced topline, but “Off The Rack” by Bricks is a catchy house track that’s fuses Miami and LA vibes into its own thing.

The Icon Collective graduate with a focus on house music, based in LA, is making his mark with “Off The Rack”. He’s recently partnered with a couple large companies in the music industry, so be on the lookout bigger things. Also, he’s dropping a label release soon as well too. 3rd times a charm – can’t wait to hear what’s next, the last two give a clear picture of what’s to come.

Events | Check Out the Stunning Line Up for III Points Festival in MIA

Posted by on June 2, 2016

III Points

III Points Music, Art, & Technology Festival is a newer festival to the market but that doesn’t mean the line up is any less impressive then the other bigger festivals that are coming up! In it’s 4th year running the festival will return to Miami, more specifically the Wynwood area where it started. The versatility in the headliners is what was so appealing to me, with highlights such as Thievery Corporation, M83, Dixon, Flying Lotus, Method Man & Redman, Maya Jane Coles DJ Koze, LCD Soundsystem along with Miami’s best local music acts. III Points stays true to its roots and authenticity as a hyper-local festival, with every stage featuring a local act performing. Check out a quote from the co-founder of the festival below along with the full line up under that! Pick up your tickets here.

“Its beautiful to watch this project come full circle with LCD Soundsystem headlining III Points this year,” says David Sinopoli, co-founder of III Points. “James Murphy was one of the first people to believe in our festival when it was just an idea in 2013. Now in our fourth year, we’re ready to take that next step with some headlining talent, and it just so happened to be the year he was putting the band back together. 2016 is starting to feel cosmically aligned.”

Directed by Jake Owens, Lil Twon returns with a brand new “Bruh” remix, recruiting this likes of Futuristic and Wes Walker for a light hearted DillyBeatz produced iteration of the organic record.

Booyah Riot are gradually making their mark on the scene, now releasing “Taste Desire,” which pulls together many musical elements in a unique, fun, and meaningful way. The vocal sample is the icing on the cake, which fuses beautifully with the house core.

I have a feeling Booyah Riot are just getting warmed up on 2016, prepare to see more action from the Miami act soon.
