Videos | Deorro Releases Official Music Video for “Five More Hours”
Posted by Juicebox on May 1, 2015
Deorro’s good time anthem, “Five More Hours”, pays homage to one of his very first releases, “Five Hours.” With vocals by Chris Brown, the blazing dance floor tune accumulated over 48 million streams on Spotify, and over 32 million streams on YouTube in a few months. Now, the latest rendition of Deorro’s biggest hit to date is getting a proper visual treatment. “Five More Hours'” music video depicts Chris Brown’s car breaking down in the desert leaving him stranded. Shortly after, a bus full of party goers on their way to Coachella comes to the rescue and they all make it to the party just in time, where they meet up with Deorro, and tear up the Sahara tent. Stream the music video above and grab the song on iTunes.

With a name that ends with ‘Hell’ it’s quite ironic that this man makes music this divine. Torontonian Coleman Hell’s ‘Thumbalina’ is quite the masterpiece engulfing one in a wind up of inspirational instrumentation and eclectic lyricism. As we transition away from a snowy winter, this track will surely make it on to your Summer playlists. So here you go, and enjoy!
Pop, RnB | Maroon 5/Kanye West (Medley) – Dylan Reese
Posted by Matt Keene on January 27, 2015
With the style and creativity of Jon Bellion and a voice somewhere between SoMo and The Weeknd, Dylan Reese is someone you need to get familiar with. This up and coming R&B artist brings a certain attitude, style and work ethic to the often times forgotten genre.
Recently, Dylan has taken a pause on his original music and has been crafting unique medleys of well known songs. Today, Dylan let go the second installment in which he takes pop superstars Maroon 5’s ‘She Will be Loved’ and ‘Sunday Morning’ as well as ‘Say You Will’ by Kanye West’s favorite person, Kanye West. Dylan’s ability to fuse the three songs into one medley and really make it his own is spot on; be sure to check out the initial medley ‘Often/3005‘.
Progressive House | Hardwell Releases Horrendous “Sally” Single Featuring Harrison
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 17, 2015
Holy smokes this is bad. Who in the hell wrote this song? The lyrics make me cringe just listening to them. This Harrison guy singing the vocals (who I suspect wrote the lyrics) is hard to listen to. There’s even a cliche “one, two, three go” before the drop. Please make it stop. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against progressive house. There are many artists who do it well. This track though? It makes me ears bleed. You know what I find hilarious? Last year, in an interview with Armin Van Buuren, he said:
“I’m experimenting with a lot of new, different sounds. I’m a bit sick of the same formula that’s going on in EDM right now so I’m just trying to change boundaries and look at what’s going on in the rest of the world. Even in the hip hop scene and the trance scene and try to combine as much as possible.” [VIDEO]
Hardwell’s “United We Are” album drops January 23rd. I won’t be picking it up.
Mashups, Progressive House | EDX vs. Disclosure – Latch For Life (Jack Eye Jones Club Mash)
Posted by BIGLIFE on October 1, 2014

Few artists can pull off a quality mashup nowadays. It seems as though those times are over or, at the very least, numbered. Most of the glorious mashup DJ’s from the turn of the decade recognize this and are attempting to transition into original pieces. Sadly, few make it. However, Jack Eye Jones, a master of the original track trade, comes from the other side of the spectrum. Perhaps that’s why he can craft songs like “Latch For Life” and get away with it. The guy has a knack for these mashups so lend this track an ear. And for the snobby folks who refuse to consume inbred works, tune into my favorite Latch remix by Teemid.
And for good measure, my favorite Latch remix…
