Progressive House | Paramore – Still Into You (Topher Jones fREeMIX)
Posted by Mel on October 3, 2013
Guys, you know how sometimes things go terribly wrong and you end up having to wipe the back of the toilet and/or think about changing your pants but it was clear af like it always is cause you mostly drink water so you don’t have to? Well guess what happened to me a couple minutes ago… I remembered how my gym teacher in the tenth grade said that she liked my hair and I just now realized that she was flirting with me. I’m sure that it’s not even a question as to whether or not she is still into me because I mean why wouldn’t she be. Chicago native Topher Jones is clearly still into Paramore’s “Still Into You”, seeing as how he remixed it a couple days ago and is giving it away for free. Honestly, the production quality of this track isn’t very high. The melody is catchy though and the drop is nice (and obviously the vocals are too), so it makes the cut. Cut is the better option and so is chewing gum loudly with your mouth open right next to me.
Electronic, Indie | Mansions On The Moon – Full Moon EP
Posted by yabishcic on October 2, 2013
Mansions on the Moon dropped their first album ‘Paradise Falls‘ in late 2010 with some killer tracks that made people instantly bandwagon. 3 years later… and they’re still coming out with quality music that keeps to their style and does their overall image justice. ‘Full Moon EP‘ is a compilation of their 2 latest songs with a undertone of pop and overtones of electro-hop along with lyrics that are relatable and quality. Give them a listen and you’ll be a insta-fan too.
Cover | Neon Hitch — We Can’t Stop (Miley Cover) [Prod. Kinetics & One Love]

After a few number one dance hits and a notable feature on Gym Class Heroes’ “Ass Back Home”, British singer/songwriter Neon Hitch’s stock is at an all-time high. After spending some time in Kinetics & One Love’s NYC studio, they created this smooth reinterpretation of Miley’s hit “We Can’t Stop” (in addition to some other material to be released soon), complete with improved lyrics and a downtempo, horn-driven beat from One Love that shows off the budding beatmaker’s tremendous versatility. Check it out, and be sure to connect with all three artists below.

Pop | Lorde – Team
Posted by VMan on September 13, 2013
A 16 year old girl from New Zealand has hit the music world by storm with her hit single “Royals,” and it doesn’t seem like the hype is going to die any time soon. Yesterday, Lorde released another track, “Team,” off her upcoming album Heroine. Truthfully I’m not sure I get the hype behind this artist, nor the hit-factor behind her tracks, though I can’t deny that I am impressed by Lorde’s talent, and how fast her music has taken off. “Team” is minimalist in production, layered with thoughtful lyrics, which are sung in a Lana del Rey fashion. Listen for yourself and let me know what you think: we like or nah??
Electro-House | Krewella – Live For The Night
Posted by Middy on July 8, 2013
By now, you have probably heard Krewella’s latest single “Live For The Night”, the lead single from their debut artist album on Columbia Records coming in the Fall. It has all the makings of being the next “Alive” with an accessible, yet aggressive enough to remain true to Krewella instrumental and catchy lyrics — the ideal fit for a lead single. With the support of a major label and its sound, you can expect to hear this bad boy to have some heavy presence on the radio as the general populace eventually grows tired of “Alive” (it does happen, even if radio can’t seem to get the message).

Cover, RnB, Videos | John Mayer – Slow Dancing in a Burning Room (SoMo Rendition)
Posted by J_Salzer on June 3, 2013
Another Monday morning, another chance for smooth singing, Joseph SoMo to boggle my mind with his latest cover. This week, he takes on a John Mayer tune. No easy feat, even for a singer of SoMo’s caliber. The result though, is astounding. Every track SoMo takes on, he meets it with emotion tenfold of the original. He finds ways to relate to the lyrics he’s singing, and tell his own story, even though he didn’t write it. But if you want something phenomenal that he DID write, check out his latest original here. Remember the name Joseph SoMo ladies and gentleman, and don’t forget it.
Dubstep | Konec – The Void (Ft. Anna Yvette) + Exclusive Interview
Posted by Sev on May 24, 2013
It has been a great pleasure watching Konec grow as an artist over the past year and even more exciting to see what the future holds for this young talent. After months of hard work he is on the verge of his new EP release entitled ‘Futures EP’ on Datsik’s label, Firepower Records. It’s great to see an artist work so hard and receive the credit they deserve for the countless hours they spend working on their craft. Up until now we have been getting little glimpses of Konec’s EP through mixes, but with the EP release in four days we finally get a free download of what I consider to be one of the most emotional dubstep tracks I have heard thus far this year. Anna Yvette has clearly been busy working with some of the best producers around and she deserves her recognition just as much as Konec does. With the EP release soon approaching, I recommend everyone listen to the iTunes previews of the tracks and Pre-order the EP right after, because it is going to be worth the purchase. Up to this point I have only see positive responses about the EP and imagine only better things to come. Check out the previews below as well as the exclusive interview with Konec about writing the EP and other matters.
