Dubstep, Videos | ASAP Rocky – Fuckin Problem (Feature Cuts Remix) [Music Video]
Posted by Jess on October 23, 2012
In lieu of performing at The Something Wicked Music Festival in Houston opening for Kaskade, Nero, Zedd and Flux Pavilion to name a few, Feature Cuts put this remix together of ASAP Rocky’s epic collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz and Drake entitled “Fuckin Problems”. He takes the catchy hook about “their problems” and turns it into a Dubstep banger with an onslaught of bass. Along with the remix, he dropped a NSFW video to go along with it that it may be hard for you to keep your eyes off of. Check it out and grab the free download below.

[First off, I’d like to apologize to everyone for the lack of hip-hop delivered by myself over the last couple weeks. One of those times when the “real job” takes priority over the “dream job”. I’ve highlighted some of the tracks I’ve missed lately, so although they may be a bit late, they all need to be heard. Hope you enjoy. – Grubeats]
Mid tour, Timeflies deliver the latest episode of The Clockumentary. Welcome to the show.
West Coast prodigy, Kendrick Lamar is busy tending to the media as they boast the beauty of his first studio album, good kid, m.A.A.d. city, released today under Top Dawg Ent, Interscope, and Aftermath. Grab the album on iTunes or head to your local Target and pick up a physical copy of the deluxe edition. This is one of those albums you’ll show your kids one day (when they’re old enough).

Feeling froggy once again, Tayyib drops off another loose track featuring fellow Philly-via-Flint native, Gilbere Forte, for a stunt worthy cruising track. With a Nintendo inspired beat crafted by 2Astronauts, this is the type of track I’ve been waiting to hear from Tay.

Newcomer Nick Ingram lets go a Cuey laced feature entitled, “This Moment”, which is featured on his brand new free album, Chrome Roses.

While Seattle’s fan base is currently captivated by the success of Macklemore, young preacher, Sol, continues to release very impressive and insightful music. Amidst his journey in East Africa, Sol continues to write and even record overseas, delivering a new perspective in his music. Enjoy this one and expect another album coming from the Zilla early in 2013 (hopefully).

I introduced Devine Carama to FNT a couple weeks back with his final single, “White Girl Lost”, before the release of his mixtape, It Was Rewritten (A Nas Tribute). As if the mixtape wasn’t enough, Carama lets loose an additional track, “ADHD Flow”, that reinforces his lyrical artillery.

KURT has impressed me over and over with his freestyles and remixes over some of the hottest industry hits. Although this one isn’t hot off the vinyl, I don’t believe it has received the credit it deserves. With that being said, enjoy this rendition of “Diced Pineapples”.

Hip-Hop, Rap | Kendrick Lamar – The Heart Pt. 3 (Prod. by Tae Beast)
Posted by J_Salzer on October 20, 2012
Nobody can touch Kendrick Lamar right now. I’ve been accused of being “on his dick” by many, many, readers. Although I’m very offended(not) by that, it doesn’t change my opinion or (non homosexual) love for Kendrick Lamar. His album, “good kid, mAAd city,” will without a doubt be one of the most complete projects of 2012, and I encourage everyone to support the Compton native when it releases tomorrow. This track is no different, packed with signature Kendrick emotional bars and an eerie beat. Grab the download below courtesy of TDE Entertainment.
Hip-Hop, Rap | Kendrick Lamar – Compton ft. Dr. Dre + Album Tracklist
Posted by Grubeats on October 2, 2012
October 22nd can’t come soon enough. Although Kendrick has now released four of the deluxe 17 tracks, no fan is satisfied. When you have an aura like Kendrick Lamar, too much is never enough. After hearing one banger from Dot and Doc in “The Recipe”, the Cali kings return with an organic track produced by Just Bliggity Blaze chanting for the one and only city of “Compton”. I’ve included the recently released track listing for the album after the break. Strap up, this is the future.
Alternative, Mixtapes | Colin Munroe – Unsung Hero
Posted by GMONEY on September 5, 2012
The talented Colin Munroe releases his highly anticipated mixtape, Unsung Hero, which features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and RZA. Gaining notoriety from covering Kanye West’s Flashing Lights and appearing on Kendrick Lamar’s, Section.80, Colin Munroe started to make a name for himself. His song writing, singing, and producing talents are unmatched in the music industry today. Unsung Heroes should create opportunities for Colin to have sustained success in this tough industry. Be on the lookout for Colin’s debut album next year and in the meantime grab Unsung Hero below.
Hip-Hop | Kendrick Lamar – Westside, Right Now (ft. Young Jeezy)
Posted by dshaq on August 17, 2012
Kendrick Lamar enlists Young Jeezy for this brand new track produced by Canei Finch, also mixed by Ali. Classic Kendrick flow on this one with a nice laid back soulful beat to compliment it, and as usual Jeezy kills it. Be on the lookout for more Kendrick, he’s definitely on the come up right now.
