Albums | “Icarus” by juuku will tear down dance floors

Posted by on August 12, 2021

juuku is a force to be reckon with. The song holds a controlled power as it slowly builds in vibes and layers, spiraling into a tremendous explosion of booming trap injected vibes that still have an emotional backdrop to them. The pulsating layered vocals throughout really help bring this one to life, and each time the song builds its use of layered sonics can be heard expertly coming into play: bleeding into a repeating phrase that closes out the three-minute auditory experience. Check out a quote from juuku below:

“Ive been searching for a new sonic landscape to add onto my vision. I’ve pushed myself more and more every single day just to find a sonic emotion that describes me at this stage of my career. Icarus pushes these boundaries for me, and i’m able to find a new dimension to the music that has made me whole”

juuku’s latest original “Fall” is some of the rising artists best work to date. More recently, he released this lavish remix of RL Grime in Grime’s most popular month of the year (due to his annual, well known mix). juuku’s shape-shifting production style blends emotional influences with future bass and glitched out vibes. He’s been on our radar a while now and we can’t get enough of his output. Check out the video above now and get ready for new music by juuku soon enough.

Bass, Chill, Future Trap, Trap | Juelz, juuku, Stay Loose and Others Team Up For “Renegade”

Posted by on July 6, 2020

I’m not sure how this many collaborators were able to pull off creating 1 single song together, but “Renegade (A Collaboration for Black Lives)” is something special and somehow does not sound like there are too many chefs in the kitchen, even if 10+ artists are all featured throughout this track! The flexibility on this song is impressive, constantly bouncing into one sound and then flawlessly into another with still sounding on point. Tune in above now!

DO SOMETHING

Bass, Chill, Electronic | Juuku Lays Vocals Down for First Time via “Seasons”

Posted by on May 29, 2020

“Seasons” is a special single for anonymous producer Juuku, it’s the first time he put his own vocals on a track. The stand cinematic and emotional production style is there and as strong as ever, but this one feels different in the best way possible thanks to the Juuku’s voice. Hoping to hear more vocal’s on future Juuku tracks, because this one sounds great. Not overbearing but just enough, just enough to fit smoothly into the mix. Check it out above now!

Bass, Chill | Porter Robinson – sad machine (juuku flip)

Posted by on February 29, 2020

The more content (both audio and video) I get out of this juuku project, the more I am excited about it’s future. The countless remixes and original stand the test of time among other up-and-coming acts and really sets this project aside. If you are into emotionally-infused glitched out future bass look no further. Tune into juuku’s “Sad Machine” flip above!

Bass, Chill | Módl’s “Clementine” gets flipped upside down by juuku

Posted by on February 11, 2020

Modl’s sappy top line is the perfect vocal to merge together alongside Juuku’s gritty yet emotional production style. Out now via Suicide Sheep’s recently started record label Found/Red, Juuku has touched up and dropped his first ever official remix. Taking on “Clementine” by Modl, he gives it an ultimate face lift. Watch the spacey self-made animated visual above and I’d place your bets on this Juuku guy, with drops as consistent and well done as his output, 2020 is looking as bright as ever.

Bass, Chill, Remix | Juuku Starts Off Hot w/ BANKS Flip

Posted by on March 7, 2019

Wow, this remix goes hard! Juuku’s debut release is a massive flip of BANKS single “Under The Table” and it is super dope. Juuku is a new artist on my radar but the music speaks for itself. The slow and gradual build up turns into something cinematic and movie soundtrack sounding. Does this producer score movies when he’s not creating bangers? Nobody knows quite yet but the layers upon layers of gnarly sound really hit home for me here. Stream the new flip by Juuku above!
