After months of anticipation, the Cali bred rapper, Azad Right, lands back on our screens with his newest visual set, “Showtime”. Equipped with a ferocious mentality to prove his abilities as a rapper, Azad straps on a camera rig and takes us for a trip around L.A. From Santa Monica to the depths of Hollywood, Azad shows that there is a right way to create soulful, substance heavy hip-hop. “Showtime” is attached to Azad’s upcoming project, For The Hopeful, slated for a late spring release. With the second release of his newest weekly series, #GetRightTuesdays, Azad takes a minute to vent about his current position in the industry over production from the talented Jonathan Marquez. I’m not sure what it is about the hook on this track, but it embodies West coast hip-hop. I’m not entirely sure what that even means, but it’s powerful. While too many artists have glitz, glamour, and greenbacks in the forefront of their game plan, the left coast poet keeps his eyes set on his five year plan. Get ready Right for a couple big releases from Azad as well as several videos and singles dropping leading up to the release of his next mixtape, For The Hopeful, expected later this year.

FNT favorite, Azad Right, recently dropped a new track titled “Better Days”, which will also be the title of his upcoming project. Although the song will not be featured on the mixtape, it’s a very deep joint that really shows what Azad is all about. Sampling The Dramatics, “In The Rain”, producer Jonathan Marquez (who produced the majority of Azad’s last mixtape, The Time Is Right, works his magic again with this track, while Azad delivers clean, crisp lyrics. While some of you may not know a lot about Azad as a person and as an artist, FNT got an exclusive opportunity to interview him which hopefully open your eyes and ears to his music. A few months ago we introduced you to the upcoming artist Azad Right. With some very lyrically deep songs like Spiderwebs, I think the kid knack for appealing to the masses. Below is the first single off his upcoming mixtape The Time Is Right which is expected to drop in September. The beat, which was produced by Jonathan Marquez, goes old-school and samples an old Spinner’s track.
