Hip-Hop | Mike Stud – Summer Swag | Hip-Hop

Posted by on June 27, 2011

It’s been a little while since we’ve gotten a new video from Mike Stud. The homie has been out west in Cali touring and making some serious moves. The video, which was directed by Paddy Quinn (the same director of In This Life and College Humor), was shot mostly at Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier, which sets the tone for the whole summer theme. I’m noticing that Stud keeps releasing videos with his bigger tracks, which seems like a sensible idea, everyone loves visuals, right? Check out the track if you’re looking for a summer jam, and be on the lookout for a new video from Stud within the next month!

Dubstep | Nero’s Dubstep Symphony and More | Dubstep

Posted by on June 14, 2011

Only Nero would come up with the idea to do a dubstep symphony, considering they come up with just about everything else dubstep related. Classical is the one genre of music I could never get into even after playing the piano for 12 years, but this is amazing. I wish I was that awesome.

Down to the goods now. This first track I know everyone is going to complain about how it just stops short, it’s because its not out yet. Despite being cut short I think you listeners can stand 3 minutes of epicness. With that said this track is insane, the second drop being entirely different from the first.

Back In Black is my second favorite AC/DC song next, second to Highway To Hell. If you don’t like AC/DC that’s ok because this is a sick track.

This last track is another one from Zeds Dead. Great vocals, sick bassline, and just an all around well produced track. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

House | Avicii ft Axwell (Swede Knights) – SNUS (FAKE) | HOUSE

Posted by on March 17, 2011

I have no idea how this got past so many people and so many blogs, but a few days ago a track surfaced that was supposably by the vicious duo of Avicii and Axwell (The Swede Knights). However, after a few days of looking around, it turns out the track in fact does not feature Avicii or Axwell, but was actually produced by Axel Bauer & Lanford…Not sure if it was a publicity stunt to get 15x more downloads by using two power house names, but its still a sick track. Fire off in the comment box if you have any more information.

Electro, Hip-Hop | Steve Aoki & Laidback Luke ft. Lil Jon: “Turbulence” | ELECTRO

Posted by on February 28, 2011

Steve Aoki and Laidback Luke’s much anticipated “Turbulence” track, featuring Lil Jon, was officially released today.

The accompanying video, which has been posted above, displays the sort of turbulance, or shall I say hurricane, that Lil Jon brings to every track he’s featured on.

Even the all-so-annoying influence of hipster-flavor in this video (which was, presumably, Aoki’s idea) can’t mask the ridiculousness of Lil Jon stomping around and whippin’ his dreads back and forth.

Hey, I’m all for hip hop merging with electro, but when it comes to useless screaming–Aoki should stick to incorporating his own vocals.

Regardless, this track is still FIRE. Give it a listen below, or purchase it here via Beatport.

Reggae | Collie Buddz – On My Way Back Home ft. Sean Paul | Reggae

We’ve been toying with the idea of throwing a Sean Paul – Collie Buddz concert for a while now and I think this might just be the sign from above that we should pull the trigger. I’m digging this track… Let us know if you’d be down to hit a concert with these two bosses.
