Lash is arguably one of the hottest acts out right now. Every remix they drop goes #1 on Hypem and they’ve proven they’re able to not only produce an array of genres, but also create their own. Their “Runaway” remix already has 1.5 million plays on SoundCloud and is unlike anything we’ve heard. House | NYC’s Sicarii Pays Homage To Frankie Knuckles With Newest Remix

About six months ago, an artist by the name of Sicarii flew onto the radar with his remix of SomeKindaWonderful’s “Reverse,” where he debuted his “smooth house” sound for the world to lend an ear. Back and better than ever, the NYC producer turns his attention to the illustrious Frankie Knuckles and his cherished original “The Ones You Love” to give it a modern twist that pays respect to the Godfather of house music. Pulsating bass jabs backed by mesmerizing drum work and Chicago-inspired samples, Sicarii takes on a behemoth of a task of doing justice to Knuckles’ legacy, and his regard for its origins earns his remix two thumbs up. Shemce returns with a new look, and an even vibier sound with his remix of Major Lazer & DJ Snake’s “Lean On”. Known for his tropical sounds, Shemce integrates himself with subtle future house vibes but nonetheless pushes through something unique. The track starts with an indie dance build that highlights MO’s soulful vocals, eventually leading to a dance floor-crushing future house influenced payoff. I recently heard the original of this tune and I fell in love, and then this remix came out of nowhere from unknown Miami newcomer Vasta. I spent some time trying to connect the dots and to learn some more about this artist, but still have yet to find any. The massive piano’s and the catchy house drums pair perfectly with brother and sister duo XYLØ, one of the most buzzing acts on the internet! I think of pool parties and springtime, and just want to chant America each time I hear the melodies. I hope you dig this as much as I do, and make sure you grab the free download above!
