Hip-Hop, Rap | Marc Goone – Real Cracker (prod. by Aaron Zuckerman)
Posted by J_Salzer on December 12, 2012
I’m not sure what golf course let Marc Gone film this provocative video, or let him anywhere near a putting green with pants like that, but wherever they are; we thank you. I often receive complaints such as: “not real hip-hop,” “this sux” or “Joseph I hate you so much you broke my heart in 8 different places I won’t ever be able to love again.” You guys need to take this video for what it is, it’s entertaining, and damn entertaining at that. Marc recruits some pretty girls, borrows a set of golf clubs, rents a BMW, and gets Aaron Zuckerman to make him a beat. If you aren’t entertained by this, well, keep scrolling. I’m sure we’ve got something to tickle your fancy.
Electronic, Glitch | Jayglow – Final Scenes EP
Posted by Sev on October 9, 2012
Inspected is a label known for having a vast variety of genres released from all sorts of artist. They supply their fans with everything from the heaviest of the heavy to the most melodic of tunes. Their latest release comes from an artist known for his incorporation of funk into his glich styled tunes, Jayglo. His newest EP on Inspected entitled “Finals Scenes” encompasses some jazz influenced, gliched out tracks that bring something fresh to its listeners. Jayglo keeps a great upbeat melody in all the tracks adding along his addition of heavy synths through to go along with the hip-hop style sounds. I had no intention of posting the EP, but after one listen through the EP I was hooked right away. Grab the EP off of Beatport HERE.
Hip-Hop, Videos | The King’s Dead – Mighty California [Music Video]

One of my person favorites off The King’s Dead debut project, “Jerusalem, is now here in visual form. Aziz and Alexander have always been involved the production of their visuals and now that they are represented by their independent film movement, Vérité Films, they played an even more instrumental role in the creation of “Mighty California”. Co-Directed/Produced by Elan Alexanberg of FTS Creative, The King’s Dead once again creates a spectacle of creativity.
“The “Mighty California” Video was inspired by Salvador Dali’s first movie “Un Chien”. The confusing non existent sense of time the film portrayed inspired Aziz Francois to create his own modern day version. A blend of Al Pacino’s “Scarface” and Dali’s “Un Chien” come together to create Mighty California. A Story about Aziz escaping two prostitutes who hold him hostage in a hotel, until he escapes

Electro | Noosa – Walk On By (Sound Remedy Remix)
Posted by J_Salzer on September 3, 2012
You know something is wrong when you see me posting electro. Or whatever this is…I’m new to this genre. I haven’t been able to find anything hip-hop to blog for the past week, I even asked artists to spam my Twitter in hopes of finding something. But alas, here we are. I’ve always enjoyed Sound Remedy’s remixes. They’re not as grungy and dirty as some of the other music I hear. They’re always clean and well done, with very slow, deliberate builds, with vocals that keep you from getting bored. Grab the track below for free courtesy of SR and enjoy all 7 minutes of it.
