Bass, Hip-Hop | Gugo & Johnny Rap (Capital City Crew) – Imam Jednu Zelju (Billain Remix)
Posted by Mach on December 1, 2013
I originally thought this was Russian but it turns out to be Croatian, which is still a cool sounding language, especially over a dope Hip-Hop beat from Billain. Do I understand a single for they are saying? No, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy the beauty of the language. The kicks and snare on this track are most prominent on this tight Billain beat. No word on release or download, but definitely worth the listen.

iTunes: Tanya Morgan ft Spec Boogie & 6th Sense – The Vehicle
Tanya Morgan is a hip-hop group from Brooklyn and Cincinnati consisting of Donwill, Ilyas Nashid and Von Pea. My boy Vic shared their new track “The Vehicle” on my wall the other day, and I’m glad he did. This is some chill, smart timeless hip-hop with quality production. These guys deserve more views and recognition. FNT welcome Tanya Morgan, take the time to check out their music video, like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. They also have an album out called “Rubber Souls” that I’m about to discover. This is a must listen!
Hip-Hop | Maino – Just Watch (Prod. Reefa & Myles.William)
Posted by VMan on November 26, 2013
Real talk, Maino is one of my favorite rappers, you probably don’t hear that often, but his album If Tomorrow Comes is one of the rawest albums that got me through some tough times a few years back. With that said, if you didn’t know by now, or you don’t follow today’s hip-hop scene, Atlanta rapper Trinidad James while in my city talked smack about New York rappers, and that didn’t sit well for a lot of these NYC rappers. Maino took matters into his own hands and recorded “Just Watch” taking shots at Trinidad, over a Reefa and Myles.William production. Do you guys think Mr. James is going to respond? Let me know, this is a must listen and a must download!

Electronic, Hip-Hop | The Physics – Play It Off
Posted by BP on November 23, 2013
The Physics, from south Seattle, have released this single called “Play It Off” from the forthcoming album “Digital Wildfire” that will be out on December 13th. The Physics bounce around in the sub genres of hip hop, and I’m not even sure what to call this one. Perhaps indie hiphop? Nonetheless, this track is tasteful and smooth. Mellow drums and rocking melodies flow with the sultry vocals to create a unique track. If you like this track, you can download it for free, and look out for the full album in December!
Electronic | SikDuo – Bring That Beat Back
Posted by BIGLIFE on November 20, 2013
Sikduo, a production team consisting of New York City legends DJ Riz and Chris Moody, are on the rise. Just yesterday, they released a new single entitled “Bring That Beat Back” that premiered on Sirius XM BPM. ”Bring That Beat Back” driving electro track with heavy snares layered on top of a tuff groove. They stick to there hip hop flavor by adding samples of the powerful voice of Chuck D. The breakdown is collected of catchy chords along with big builds. Download the track for free below, they’re taking over the blogosphere.
Hip-Hop | Mobb Deep – Hell On Earth (Nolan The Ninja Remix)
Posted by Mach on November 19, 2013
This remix seriously takes me back, feels like just yesterday it was 1996 and I was at my cousins house sneaking a listen of “Front Lines (Hell On Earth)” behind my moms back. Back in the day Mobb Deep set the stage for my hip-hop listening through the 90s. With the release of their up and coming self titled album, “Mobb Deep”, looming over the heads of all, it’s no wonder that Nolan The Ninja mixed a track from one of the best duos in hip-hop. I will refuse to say this is better than the original, that’s insulting to any great hip-hop track, but I do enjoy the different styling to this track that Nolan The Ninja brings. Definitely worth the listen.
