Bailey Smalls, AKA BAI, AKA Thick As Thieves, has been having quite the identity crisis, but that in no way has effected his ability to produce sick tracks. This new remix of his is one of his best for sure. Every time he releases something new, it is better than the previous. Looking forward to what he has in store for us in the future.

This sounds so much better than the original. To be honest, I don’t think Example has all that great of a voice. His voice clashes with almost every beat he covers. You can tell Audiogroove had to use auto-tune to try and sound like Example, but he still sounds better, haha.

After my initial post about Rey Marrasquin’s art which is inspired by the music he finds right here, I was hooked to his story. For each of his video’s Rey, picks a song and uses it to inspire a piece of artwork…the best part is that he films the whole creation process and constructs a time-lapse video of the whole thing. Call me biased, but his latest masterpiece, a dedication to your truly, is my personal favorite haha.

Dubstep | At Dawn We Rage – Until The Light Takes Us EP

This is hot dubstep. It is melodic and smooth, with drops that make Van Gogh look like a finger painter… haha, oh Expressionism. My favorite track on this has to be “More and More,” it is absolutely breathtaking. Although only 4 tracks, this EP is very well rounded, with many different sides of dubstep present. I think most people will love this, even if you are not into dubstep.

The joke going around is that we now know who stole Skrillex’s laptop, haha. Zomboy is destroying dubstep right now. This track is from Zomboy’s “Never Say Die Vol. 13” mix, Firex didn’t do much but make the track longer. For that sir we thank you. Zomboy is going to get huge fast, make sure you jump on it like the rest of us by checking him out on FACEBOOK.

Layna your presence although rare is always appreciated due to your amazing taste in music, FNT thanks you.

After hearing this remix I have come to the conclusion that you producers out there need to remix more of these early 2000s hip-hop tracks, I want to hear a “Freek-A-Leek” remix of Petey Pablo next. “Lean Back” was the second song I ever downloaded on my first laptop (the first being Jesus Walks by Kanye West). This remix appeals to the heavier dubstep fans, but no doubt you guys will love it.

I couldn’t find any cool mashup pictures, but then I came across this and couldn’t resist haha. The two mashups are a real treat. The first one sounds amazing, the vocals mixed up almost perfectly. The second track is one of the best dubstep mashups, I would consider it second to 5 & A Dime’s “Skrillmau5.” Second because lets face it, 5 & A Dime out did himself on that mashup.
