Due to the huge attention ‘Recipe Girl’ has gotten over the past few days, DOSVEC decided to give this fine mashup some visuals to match. Pitbull’s vocals make this mash what it is with that chill beat, it is no wonder he dominates the visuals on this video. This mashup is still a great bedroom jam. I got a kick out of the clip from ‘Friday’ he snuck in, haha.

I have to be honest, Laidback Luke’s album art was cool on the first few covers, but I’m really not feeling it anymore. I can say though that I was not much of a fan of his until most recent. It was more that I just didn’t didnt understand his style within electro-house til now. He really made Dancin a sick dancing track, makes you want to just bust out haha. With the start of a new year, Mach and I were talking about what tracks we would like to see released in 2012 that were not released last year. The funny thing was, we both named the same track as our most wanted unreleased track. Gemini’s style is second to none and it can be seen through this track and his other releases. Seems as though the only way this track might get released is if we bug Gemini enough to where he gets tired of hearing about it. So everyone who wants this track knows what to do; get on twitter and get to work haha. Now time for some nasty tunes.
All I could think to myself at the start of this song was that I couldn’t stand Cascada’s voice in this track. After the drop all I could think to myself was how I love Cascada’s voice in this track. Barron bringing the filth with this drop and it is a 100 times better than his voltage remake.

Justin Perea goes all out on this remix of We Are Massive. The drop reminds me of Alvin Risk’s style which probably explains why I can’t stop listening to it.

Mach and I both agreed that we liked this drop better than the original drop. Kabuki Zombie takes another route to creating the drop than Doctor P did and it makes the track sound heavier.

It has been a while since we got a release from J.Rabbit. Terravita released a little two track EP and this monster was on there.

Candyland is another new comer to the dubstep genre and lately he has been putting out some sick tracks. This one in particular caught my attention starting off with a nice melody into a sudden, but monstrous drop.

Above is Tupac just chilling with his homeboyz…haha. On a serious note, this remix is awesome. Technically it is hip-hop/dubstep, but considering how important Tupac’s verses are to this remix, it didn’t feel right. Doing what every producer should consider when remixing a legend, Dirt Monkey made sure Tupac was the main subject still on this track.

Los, the Baltimore newcomer, is spitting absolute fire these past couple tracks I’ve listened to. Obvy for me I post the XV, just to keep all of my posts connected somehow. I know everyone is about to hit finals or holidays, both of which lead to excessive drinking, eating, all nighters and working out (haha just kidding) (working out pft) so this is a bomb pump up song about getting what you want. What are the odds that today I felt like compiling all the rare Mac Miller tracks that have been releasing everyday this month, to only have his fan site do it and include some extras that the Mac himself added. Odds are 1 in a billion, if I’m feeling lucky, haha. Well with that said there is now a second mixtape before the release of Mac Miller’s new album. Over the past month Mac has been dropping old and new, rare, unreleased tracks hyping up for his debut album. I am no die hard fan, but I enjoy Mac Miller and most of what he drops including this. If you are a die hard fan, which many are these days. You will love this, and if not well I’m sure you will anyways.
