Chill, Hip-Hop, Rap, RnB | Jetpack Jones – That Blow ft. Robby Ra$hu (Prod. by Beemo)
Posted by J_Salzer on April 7, 2013
FNT favorite, Jetpack Jones, unleashes his newest single on the interwebs today. My internet was being spotty(shout out to Bright House customer care on Twitter) and I couldn’t listen to the song for about 3 hours. When I finally realized I should download it instead of trying to stream it, I was hit with a sense of euphoria as I listened to the track for the first time. Jetpack often sends me music and claims it’s his best work to date, I’ve grown accustomed to hearing the same sound from him. That is by no means a bad thing, as I enjoy his sound immensely, but this song has changed my view entirely. That Blow does have the same Jetpack feel I’ve come to know, along with the extraterrestrial-type beat he so often paints his pictures over, but it also features the best lyrics I’ve ever heard from the Lakewood rapper. Stream and download the track below and check out Jetpack on Facebook and Twitter.
Hip-Hop | OnCue – Live Forever ft. Skizzy Mars
Posted by Grubeats on April 3, 2013
We’ve seen several artists come into their own here at FNT. Many of which have signed records deals, had major hits, or seen a massive spike in their social following (I’m not referring to the ones who cheated and bought the numbers). Although Cuey has not yet had “that moment” per say, he has remained one of the most consistent, hungry, even keeled artists we feature. His head remains above the water while he plots his next move. He continues to develop with every release and is a true artist of his craft. His highly anticipated project, Angry Young Man, has been in the works for several months now and although this cut will not be on the project, it’s reassurance that it will be a worthwhile wait. You have to let the marinate to harness the flavors, right?

Hip-Hop | Jetpack Jones – Breeze prod. by Spacedtime
Posted by J_Salzer on March 23, 2013
Unbeknownst to even his favorite blogs, Jetpack Jones releases a new track, simply because. Jetpack has become a staple on Fresh New Tracks, due to his consistently released, consistently good music. “Breeze,” is no different, it highlights Jetpack’s creative flow over a spacey, smooth beat crafted by Spacedtime. Check out the track below, download it for free, and check out Jetpack on Twitter, and be on the lookout for a FNT x Jetpack Jones exclusive.
Hip-Hop, Rap | Von La’Flare – Express (Prod. King Kilo)
Posted by dshaq on March 19, 2013
Let me introduce you to FNT newcomer, Von La’Flare. Hailing from Chicago, Von embraces the Chicago trap sound. La’Flare has a smooth sounding flow added with some quality verses that makes it a must listen. The flow works real well over King Kilo’s heavy hitting beat, which compliments the heavier bass with the softer piano riff. Von’s mixtape “Leaders Never Follow” comes out on Thursday so make sure to look out for that one. Shoutout KP.
Exclusive, Featured, Interviews | Jaytech talks opening vs headlining, upcoming productions & more in an exclusive interview with FNT

Anjunadeep man turned Anjunabeats Dj and producer James Cayzer better known as Jaytech is coming off of a year that saw him release his sophomore album “Multiverse” and cement his position as one of the better members of the Anjunabeats family. 2012 saw him grace the stages like EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo and Tomorrowland, while touring the world in destinations like North America, Japan, Europe and his native Australia. He most recently released his track “Inception” on Anjunabeats Volume 10, one of the darker tracks on the compilation. After moving to Berlin 3 years ago, a move that has been “really great”, from his 2 year stint in London to be closer to the Anjunabeats family, he feels right at home making music that feels right.
We got him on the phone at his place in Berlin in between shows last weekend in New York and Slovakia and then back to the US this week for the all important WMC. You can find info on his gigs down in Miami and beyond here. We had the chance to chat about the mistakes openers make and how to stand out as an opener, upcoming material, how business is changing dance music and much more.
Hip-Hop, Videos | OCD: Moosh and Twist – Top of the World (Video)
Posted by J_Salzer on March 11, 2013
The last two releases from the duo of Moosh and Twist have been on point. After releasing “All Alright” last week, they hit another home run with “On Top of the World.” They’ve been experimenting with a poppier, more energetic, happier, style, and I couldn’t be enjoying it more. The video, filmed by Ian Wolfson, known to the common folk as Rex Arrow, is incredible. I know it’s a Monday, but if you don’t feel good while watching this video, pop a molly or something, because I can’t help you. Back to the Basement drops tomorrow, FNT will have it. Shoutout to our friends at Good Music All Day with the exclusive release, y’all got a winner.
