Steve Aoki and Laidback Luke’s much anticipated “Turbulence” track, featuring Lil Jon, was officially released today.
The accompanying video, which has been posted above, displays the sort of turbulance, or shall I say hurricane, that Lil Jon brings to every track he’s featured on.
Even the all-so-annoying influence of hipster-flavor in this video (which was, presumably, Aoki’s idea) can’t mask the ridiculousness of Lil Jon stomping around and whippin’ his dreads back and forth.
Hey, I’m all for hip hop merging with electro, but when it comes to useless screaming–Aoki should stick to incorporating his own vocals.

I don’t know if its the hormones in our chicken and milk or what, but young guns seems to be relentlessly infiltrating the music scene. I thought Avicci, who emerged at the tender age of 19, was impressive, but now I’ve come across this 16 year old French kid who just kills it. His filthy Pendulum remix even graced the top spots of beatports charts a shortwhile ago. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. Check him out on Facebook and Twitter.
