“A.D.D.” Episode #14 brings some of the biggest commercial songs, club songs and classic house samples into a perfectly mashed 55 minutes. The minute you think you know what is coming up DOSVEC is able to change course without a hitch. Guess it is true “A.D.D.” the mashup show that keeps you guessing what is coming up next.

Today is the day that Fedde Le Grand’s remix for “Love Never Felt So Good”, the lead single off MJ’s recently released album is out and it is, perhaps surprisingly, pretty good. The chorus is the only part of the vocals retained and has been paired with an anthemic piano, strings and drop. The Youtube comments are not overly positive towards this remix, with their main criticism being, at least from what I can gather, that it sucks. The Soundcloud comments are more positive however, so it seems like you’ll either love this song or hate it. Thinking it is just okay is also a possibility. Whatever your opinion may be of this track, an official progressive house remix of Michael Jackson is clearly an attempt to make him popular with the younger generation and that can only be a good thing right? Probably.

I know I’m usually late to the party, but I had no clue Mariah Carey had a new single, nor that Fedde Le Grand remixed it, but somehow “You’re Mine (Eternal)” Fedde Le Grand’s remix managed to make it to my ears, and I’m glad it did. Ultranauts (those who were at Ultra music festival) can you confirm if this track was played at Ultra? I can only imagine this tune hitting the spot in a festival setting, heck, it’s hitting the spot in my headphones at my desk! No doubt about it this is a must listen!

As their collaboration with 3LAU, “Escape” sits prominently at number 3 on the Beatport overall chart, Paris & Simo ride that wave of momentum into the release of another one of their highly coveted tracks, “Tundra”. Add another one to the books. Timeflies newest radio ready hit single, “I Choose U” evidently trickled into the lab of Fedde le Grand, who remixed the electro-pop track into a heavier house hit. Adding powerful drum work and swooning synths behind Cal’s vocals and extending the already addictive drop just brought this track from six to midnight. The purity of Cal’s vocals really hold up nicely as the Dutch Commander maintains a uniform balance of added production and authenticity of the original record.
