We’ve been watching Scottish talent Jack Eye Jones with increasing interest over the past few months and with good reason. The much loved Scotsman has been churning out the peak time festival tunes with increasing regularity, all the while gaining support from some of the biggest in the industry with particularly vocal support from heavyweights Avicii and Tiësto. Following on from the likes of Playground (which featured Tiësto himself on the remix pack) and Far East which caused quite a stir at EDC, we now have the latest high tempo salvo from Jack in ‘My Neighbours Know’ feat vocals from British talent STG.
Taking inspiration from the much loved mantra of the Scot “turn it up and let your neighbours know!” the track combines some trademark Jack Eye Jones percussion with a roaring synth line and a vocal feature that will no doubt go down well with clubbers. Coming this next month on Beatport via Jack’s own IBZ Records label, this one is sure to do some damage. If you think you might have heard this one before, that’s probably due to the fact that Jack is currently on a 15 date US Tour and this release has been featuring prominently. The countdown to October 20th begins.

It’s 2014, and Jersey duo I.O.U. aka Inside Our Universe is not wasting any time releasing their first single “The Other Side Of Fear” off their digitally released debut album The Soul & The Intellect, a catchy hard hitting track layered with the guy’s unique style of rapping and singing. Putting themselves on the map in 2010 with their Rutgers anthems “RU State Of Mind” and “Black & Scarlett” along with releasing 3 free mixtapes and opening for Big Sean, Far East Movement, and Jake Miller among others, get ready to be seeing more of these guys. This is what 2014 sounds like. This is a must listen and support by copping the album on iTunes!

Moombahton | Tupac – California Love (Rico Tubbs Remix)
Posted by Mach on June 8, 2012
Rico Tubbs showing his California love on this sick remix. This is a fun remix to listen to as well as partying to. The vocals are kept in their classy Tupac fashion, just sped up a bit. I may be in the far East right now, but I can still enjoy a little love from the West coast. It’s Friday, it’s time to party.
Girl Fire, Pop | Dev ft. Timbaland-Don’t Hurt
Posted by ATexas on January 18, 2012
This is Far-East-Movement-meets-Kreayshawn with a verse drop by Timbaland. Definitely the most unfinished sound Dev has released, but I can see it catching on to main stream charts. I didn’t like it the first (or second) time I heard it, but by the third time I was beep booping to the beat, like embarrassing hairbrush in front of the mirror beep booping.
