Fitted in Celtics green track suits, the Boston duo hit us with visuals for what is now their 4th single off their recently released self-titled album. A carefree attitude clearly the motive behind this track, which is only appropriate seeing as though the FAM has pioneered a new lane in music. Light guitar riffs, a repetitive and free spirited hook, and the usual clever rhymes back this message as they continue to carve out their niche. Sitting pretty at the number 5 spot on iTunes top 10 album list, Aer’s self titled album might be taking noobs by storm, but it’s exactly what their loyal fan base has been anticipating. Covering all the bases, the 12-track project is diverse enough to fulfill multiple moods, but stays within the walls of Aer’s self constructed genre. Attributing their success to their organic word-of-mouth FAMily, David and Carter did spend a fair amount of time writing and recording in LA, but finished the album up in their hometown studio…David’s bedroom.

Aside from their previously released singles (“Won’t Laugh”, “Spades, Clubs, & Diamonds”, and “Says She Loves Me”), my immediate favorites are “Pretty Lady”, “Stars” and “Movin’ It”. Recline, kick up your feet and enjoy this project while you support the dudes on iTunes.

This breezy new cut from the Boston duo strong on their come up is exactly what we expected; light, smooth, and blended with their signature sounds. Having an opportunity to travel the country sharing good vibrations with thousands and thousands of fans is far fetched for many of us. The duo native to Massachusetts has been privileged with the opportunity to tour the beautiful US of A on several occasions. On their latest tour with Hoodie Allen, Jared Evan, and Mod Sun, David and Carter found it fitting to shoot visuals for their most recent single “Take It Wrong” across various scenery in some of their favorite cities. After too long of a wait, Fortune Fam is finally back and this time they brought some serious heat. On this track Hops uses a sample of Rod Stewart’s Young Turks which is absolutely DOPE. As usual, Reef drops some knowledge on you fools on the first verse and Hops goes in with his signature hard flow on the second and third verses. Support the Fam’ on facebook.
