Who says you can’t relax to dubstep? These first two tracks are somewhere in between “ambient” and the “melodic” dubstep I normally post. Be sure to cop the Blackmill remix before all of your friends! And for good measure I threw in a heavier track that remixes Basshunters massive hit, “All I Ever Wanted”. Our die hard bass heads should definitely give that one a listen, but don’t complain if it makes your ears bleed.

The dynamic duo of dubstep dropped this heater no more than a week ago. The drop is ridiculous, but this track doesn’t top the Sunlight remix of theirs that I’m dying for them to release August 15th.

I honestly have never heard of Flyte One before, but I really like the productions he has. The first one is a Paper Planes remix that was just released. It doesn’t seem like dubstep to be honest, but once you listen to the track that wont really matter. The second track is an insane remix of Louder, if anyone can hook me up with an untagged version hit me up in the comments!

This last track is another one of those artists that I know nothing about except that they have good music. RHYNO from what I have heard has this awesome Pretty Lights styled vibe going, how could one go wrong there.

Dubstep | Zomboy, Gramatik, and Fytch & Captain Crunch

People keep comparing Zomboy to Skrillex, which I can not argue against. Zomboy uses the ‘Skrillex Style Synths’ in his own creative way. Most of his tracks make me think of zombies not Skrillex (not because of his name, listen and you will understand). With that said, Zomboy might be one of the biggest small producers out in dubstep. Watch out, he is going to wreak the competition in the future.

Gramatik might be one of the best things to happen to the Pretty Light Music Label, besides Pretty Lights. Having only been signed a few months ago and already dropping a huge mixtape, the up and coming genius doesn’t disappoint Pretty Lights’ fans with tracks like this one.

This last track took me a little more effort then necessary to find. I heard a preview a while back and fell in love instantly. The vocals are beautiful, and the drop is what you would come to expect in the last track of my dubstep posts.

Dubstep | Ray Charles – Good Thymes (Opiuo Remix)

Ray Charles meets dubstep (according to “T” this is “glitch hop” and not dubstep, kill me)…interesting and unique combination here. Opiuo brings a nice upbeat and funky sound to this track with the same vibe you find on most of Pretty Light’s tracks.

This new Tiesto remix is going to be a banger. It shows his continuing transition away from being only a Trance DJ and branching out more to House and other forms of electronic music. This has angered a lot of people who think he is selling out and not staying with what made him so great. Here is some quality soft dubstep with some glitch influences for your Sunday. Guttstar recently released his 4 song EP Catch A Drift with creative melodies and synth lines, great heavy bass and quality dubstep all the way through. I posted all the songs individually, as well as the whole EP as one file.

Dubstep, Videos | Cinema (Skrillex Remix) Music Video and Diplo & Datsik

Benny Benassi needs to make his transition over to dubstep already, it’s obvious he’s in love with the genre. He dropped one of the hottest dubstep remixes I’ve ever heard at Ultra and he chose Skrillex’s remix of “Cinema” as a second video to go along with the original. The video itself is a work of art, what more could you expect from a legend? Too bad Skrillex himself couldn’t have made an appearance in it.
Datsik doesn’t drop enough tracks in my opinion. I love everything hes worked on, but it never seems to be enough. Diplo on the other hand is a legend, the two combined gives us this sick new track.
