Next week, TomorrowWorld’s highly anticipated third edition is going down next week, and those of you who are camping in DreamVille are in for a special treat. In addition to the full weekend of madness, the festival is known for its epic opening party, The Gathering, that’s a campers-only event. In years past, they’ve had the best of the best kick off the festivities, and this year is no different. TomorrowWorld has enlisted Headhunterz, Yves V, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Tujamo, FTampa, and more to be the selectors for the Thursday night affair. Check out the full lineup and set times below. If you don’t have your tickets booked for TomorrowWorld yet, what are you doing? This year’s festival is shaping up to be one of its greatest yet and quite possibly one of the best festivals of the year. Everyone from Kaskade to Porter Robinson to Shaq is playing the festival, and every year they make sure that their guests are taken care of in DreamVille. For 2015, they have added a bevy of new activities that residents can take part in. From spinning classes and pilates for those fitness junkies to giant Jenga and football for sports and game lovers to meditation sessions if you need a break, DreamVille will be the ultimate paradise for anyone trying to recharge each day before ensuing in the madness that is TomorrowWorld. Breakfast Beats is the newest addition to the TomorrowWorld experience. Exclusive to DreamVille residents, festival-goers will be able to enter into a breakfast area full of classic breakfast foods, coffee, blood marys, mimosas, coffee, and much more while a DJ rotation takes over sound waves to get fans ready for a full day of raving. The novel concept is brand new to TomorrowWorld and fans will be able to purchase DreamVille tickets (Tier 2) on Thursday, March 5th at 12 PM EST here.

The festival of TomorrowWorld gives fans a chance to travel back and jump into their favorite childhood book. At the DreamVille campgrounds, fans set up their home for the weekend in a fairytale like atmosphere that is unparalleled by other camping festivals. The creators of TomorrowWorld have released a recap video, ‘Welcome To DreamVille,’ where aspiring festival-goers can see what veterans experience when becoming a citizen of this magical town. Fans can start out their day by detoxing at a Yoga/Workout Class then travel to the diverse Marketplace to grab some grub before hours on end of raving. For living quarters, fans can either choose between setting up their own tent or living in one of the pre-made arrangements, Easy Tent or the Dream Lodges. The succulent taste of diced pineapples is difficult to resist. So difficult that Dreamville MC/Producer, Elite, decided to take a bite of the Cardiak beat. Although we’re accustomed to hearing Elite rap over his own beats, he adds his own originality to the track by reflecting on his “Grand Piano”. This ones not attached to any project in particular but Elite has assured me he has plenty of new music on deck.

Dreamville, Dreamville, Dreamvilleeeeeee. Two of Dreamville’s finest, Voli and J. Cole come together to create the sound of love. The single will be yet another off Voli’s album dropping later this summer, The Wall, which is incrementally becoming one of my most anticipated projects of the year. Production credits can be split between the two multi talented musicians, as the flip Huskey Rescue’s original, “Sound of Love”. Earmuffs kids, this one’s for the grown ladies.
Hip-Hop | King Mez – The Allure ft. Drey Skonie (Prod. By J. Cole)

Sifting through today’s submissions, I caught eye of this track from King Mez, “The Allure”, highlighted by the fact it was produced by J. Cole. Sure the name associated drew my initial attention, but the beat alone won’t sell itself, even if it is from a Grammy nominated Rapper/Producer. With that being said, I was thoroughly impressed by King Mez’s delivery. A breath of Fresh air Heir (cue the hashtag to support the movement #FreshHeir). Evidently an intelligent artist, Mez provides thought provoking rhymes leaving me wanting more. An alluring introductory.
Mez’s association with Cole is still uncertain at this point, but looking ahead to see additional production off his upcoming album, My Everlasting Zeal, will feature that of Commissioner Gordon, Soundtrakk (Lupe Fiasco’s “Kick Push” and “Superstar”), Omen (Dreamville), 1120, and Prolyfic, it appears Mez has aced the art of networking. In addition, he appears to be from Raleigh, NC, a mere hour and five minute drive from Jermaine’s hometown of Fayetteville (yes, I Googled it).
