Their roster includes the vomitstep king Snails, label heads Black Tiger Sex Machine, the orchestral bass master Apashe, Dabin, and more. They recently celebrated their four year anniversary, so they decided to give back to the fans in the form of Free Flesh, a free compilation album with classic Kannibalen songs. It’s jam packed with records from their crew, who have stopped at nothing to create tracks that are like nothing else out there. Black Tiger Sex Machine and Dabin have collaborated before, however they’ve come a long way since “Jack Dat Body.” Both are now touring the United States, with BTSM soon to help kick off The Gathering at TomorrowWorld this Thursday. Surely, festival goers will be hearing “BREAK” during the set. The collaboration is yet another astonishing record that has been added to the Kannibalen Records catalog. With this single, the acts bring a destructive electro production to the table that starts off with an emotionally alluring introduction that Dabin shreds some guitar on. I can’t think of any record that sounds like this one, so props to these guys for making something special. Lastly, the Mad Max inspired artwork is bad ass!

As if Dabin’s original single “Touch” with Daniela Andrade wasn’t beautiful enough, Kannibalen Records enlists three remixes for the magnificent musical specimen. As you can expect from the Kannibalen crew, they diversify the EP with sounds ranging from club-friendly side, to the headphones and chill side. Kicks N Licks bring the bass with their dubby interpretation that plays towards a festival friendly style. Ghosts, who already has a strong catalog of quality remixes, adds another with one of the most sensational house tracks that has graced the deeper side of the genre. Lastly, Imagined Herbal Flows brings a downtempo future remix that rounds out the EP quite nicely. Dabin and company only brought three tracks to the table, but they weren’t messing around with their choices. Suffice to say, the Touch Remixes EP is definitely worth the purchase price!

Dabin is one of those producers that infuses strong emotions into every track he creates. His latest release of Kannibalen Records doesn’t fall short on that front, as it is one of his most powerful singles yet, morphing future bass with dub in a way that few have done before. Dabin just returned from playing the main stage at Electric Forest, where he rocked it; quite literally, as his live performance makes us of his guitar and keyboard. “Velvet Room” has the perfect balance of energy, aligning itself on the fence between an intimate song and an anthem. Look out for more new music from Dabin, as well as upcoming shows, as his touring in the United States has just begun.
