In honor is Swaggernaut Productions one year anniversary, director Ben Foley has put together a short video recapping some of the top moments of his journey thus far. Highlighted by his work with Tyga, Kid Ink, Chris Webby, Mike Stud, Huey Mack, and several others, it’s undeniable that SP has had one hell of a freshman year.
At this time I’ll share a friendly reminder that there is less than one week remaining in our featured music video contest! If you’re an aspring hip-hop artist, this is an opportunity to prove your talents and kickstart your career. If you win, not only will you receive a FREE music video directed by the 3-6 person Swaggernaut Productions team, but you’ll also be fully hooked up with fresh apparel from all 5 of our sponsors. Hell, if we get over 100 submissions BigLife may even drop a couple bars for you kids.

Hip-Hop | Kinetics ft. Chris Webby – Game Over
Posted by LoffyG on June 5, 2012
Cornell wordsmith and Warner wunderkind, Kinetics, teams up with notable ninja Chris Webby for the second time time after their previous “Joker” collaboration off Webby’s There Goes The Neighborhood. In their new collaboration, Kinetics raps with calculated conviction while Chris Webby talks about video games, super mario, and other video game pursuits. No complaints here, this track is tough.
Hip-Hop | Chris Webby, Kid Ink, Macklemore, Flo-Rida

Probably my favorite track off Webby’s debut EP, There Goes The Neighborhood, the Ninja takes his ’95 Altima to an abandoned building where he shows just what he does. As the budget gets bigger, so do the videos. Webby exercises his ability to deliver punch after punch while flowing with a purpose.
Chris Webby – What I Do (Prod. by Teddy Roxpin)
New joint from Kid Ink produced by Ned Cameron. I’m speculating in saying this may be the first single off his debut album? If not, the first official leak off his next mixtape.
Kid Ink – Time Of Your Life (Prod. by Ned Cameron)
This track dropped days ago, but I never got around to posting it. Finally, Macklemore is getting recognition (in my book, a likely pick for one of XXL’s 2012 Freshman). Here he joins Wale & Emelio Rojas on Tony Williams track, the first major collab I’ve seen from Macklemore. While he held his own on this verse, hopefully we’ll see more coming from the Seattle star soon.
Blazin High – Tony Williams ft Wale, Emilio Rojas & Macklemore
Mr. Dillard, aka Flo Rida hops on Rihanna’s infectious radio smash. Shocking. Appears Flo couldn’t resist giving the Calvin Harris beat a shot because it’s clearly not an official remix.

Voli is on fire. Dropping this brand new track entitled ” Blood, Sweat, & Tears”, there’s no word where it will find a home, but one thing is for sure, it’s a gem. Fellow Dreamville artist, Elite, proved to he’s one of the hardest working individuals in the game and although it should not come as a surprise, Voli maintains a similar work ethic and skill level. He himself dropped a mixtape just over three months ago, leaving no time for a vacation. Self produced, this track is a x-ray into Voli’s life. I certainly can taste the blood sweat and tears he leaves in the booth on this track. The video is nothing like I’ve seen before. Two thumbs up for director Patrick Florescio.

When Brenton Duval is with us, he’s one of the best at what he does. Unfortunately, we have not seen much of him over the past several months. The game needs more original production remixes of up and coming artists work. Here Brenton takes Cuey & CJ Luzi’s title track off one of the best mixtapes of the year (Download Here) and slows it down without compromising the quality. A slower beat with a heavy hit from the bass really fits the song well and helps emphasizes the progression of Cuey’s career and how it is finally coming to fruition. Cuey for breakout artist of 2012? Shout out to our friends at itsthebino for the premier.

Yes it’s only been a couple weeks since Chris Webby released his debut EP, which premiered on iTunes and quickly climbed up to the #1 spot on the hip-hop charts. Deeply distressed over a recent passing of a close friend, Webby found himself back in the studio sending his love through his words. Produced by his tour DJ, DJ Semi, the track samples “The Kid’s Aren’t Alright” by the Offspring. Unfortunately, many of us can relate to this track.
Hip-Hop, Rap | Chris Webby – There Goes The Neighborhood
Posted by dshaq on November 30, 2011
There Goes the Neighborhood, Chris Webby’s new project, was due to release today but he had to push it back until Thursday. So while we’re waiting he released the final leak. Produced by Don Cannon, Webby goes in and throws a good flow on the chill beat. I’m excited to listen his new stuff, I’ve grown to really like his stuff more and more after Webster’s Lab. All you ninjas out there go like his Facebook page and follow him on Twitter

Hip-Hop | Kinetics & One Love – If I Die Young (Remix)
Posted by Mach on September 19, 2011
Kinetic & One Love are the hottest thing since sliced bread. I am a fan of Sam Adams, Chris Webby, XV, and all the other hot up and coming hip-hop artists, but none in my mind compare to the mic killer, Kinetics. I wont lie, I am a big fan of the original of “If I Die Young.” Kinetics & One Love did an incredible job remixing this track.
