What would Britney sound like on a trap beat? Chi Duly seems to specialize in answering questions no one asks. This time around he collabs with newcomer Louie XIV, for a “hillbilly trap” rendition of “Work Bitch”. Honestly seeing as how Katy Perry, Rihanna and Miley have all put out “edm trap” ish records, we’re kind of surprised Britney (who jumped on the dubstep wagon in 2011) chose such a dated edm sound on the original Work Bitch.

If you’re not familiar with Boss Ass Bitch, this is the latest and greatest thing in the world of ratchetry. Going viral on Vine via lipsyncs of the insanely catchy hook, it eventually found it’s way onto Chi Duly’s timeline. After disappearing for most of this year, the FNT vet (who first caught our attention with Balloons of Haus, cosigned by The Weeknd himself) blindsides us with a twerk friendly remix that bangs start to finish.
Aside from lending a hand on PropaneLv‘s upcoming album Varsity Blues, it seems he’s been doing some reinventing.

Remixer extraordinaire PropaneLv takes a step into the EDM world with his first original release in months: “Games We Play”. The song production, and visual, follow the songs turbulent concept to a T as Lv raps about a roller coaster of a relationship. The fusion of EDM and hip hop creates a very viable pop song for Lv & friends.
Given it’s EDM nature, “Games We Play” will likely be a bonus track on Lv’s upcoming album Varsity Blues. Lv’s camp is also releasing a mixtape of his remixes next week, which have garnered more than 3 million views on YouTube in the last year. Letter To The Industry drops July 22nd.

I really like this version, but I was a fan of the original, unlike the blogfather, A. This video was edited by FNT veteran Chi Duly, so you know it’s good. The remix master, Chi Duly, drops his latest killer masterpiece on us. After Duncan Sheik released the debut track off his album, his manager reached out to the remix god Chi Duly to put his own spin on it. Shout became the first single and it’s currently making radio rounds on the adult contemporary circuit. I don’t quite know how involved I am in the “Adult Contemporary Circuit” but what I can tell you is that this track is extremely pleasing to the ear and is something you’ll want to have in your iTunes. In the midst of preparing for a hurricane to hit NYC, literally, producer Chi Duly and PropaneLv come together to put a new spin on Heard It Through The Grapevine. The collaboration is a slight departure from Lv’s series of more current pop remakes. Had to take it back on this one:

UGH. Propane Lv hits us with his latest huge remix/cover. This time taking on the massive(literally and figuratively) Rick Ross’ hit tune, Diced Pineapple’s. Propane easily impersonates Wale, Ross, and Drake, but also puts his own little spin on it, as he always does. The production was handled by Chi Duly, so you know it’s good. Propane continues to create unique covers that stand out in an over-saturated YouTube world by staying true to the original song, while also creating his own signature style.
