Truthfully, I am surprised that The Weeknd hasn’t been remixed and sampled that much given the amount of hype surrounding him. I am sure that will be change very soon, actually I am quite certain that it will. Producer Chi Duly has an upcoming project coming out titled Balloons of House that will feature uptempo remixes of The Weeknd, one of which will be this remix of The Weeknd’s “The Party.”
Chi Duly also further chopped up the instrumental and gave it to PropaneLV to make a Hip Hop rendition of the remix. The hot girl in the video alone makes this song worth posting but the song is pretty sick as well. It also serves as a great introduction to PropaneLV who I can tell just from this that he is a dope emcee. He also happens to be quite the comedian on Twitter and extremely excited that Shark Week is back (check out his parody video of Meek Mill’s “Tupac Back” titled “Shark Week Back” here).

No this isn’t another white rapper (read the category tag for the post “Electro), but I do need to preface this post with the following; these aren’t your average FNT song. Its caught in some grey area that I can’t pinpoint – perhaps you all can pitch in here and help with the description. I can tell you this much, after listening to all of the frat rap submissions this came as a refreshing change up. Even better, the artist allowed me to post his best track “Cables” for free even though he’s offering it on iTunes for a buck. If you’re feeling kind, purchase the track here.

I know I’ve been throwing several Beautiful People remixes at you but I just couldn’t pass this one up. It features a calm “progressivey” feel that’s actually a pretty delightful change up from the usual sounds artists are using to switch this track up with. In case you’re bored with this track, I’ve thrown in Overwork’s latest project as a bonus. Per his normal style, this track has some mildly heavy spots but also some softer spots and of course it sports a nice buildup and drop.

People that don’t like dubstep tell me they like Nero anyways. Nero obviously didn’t make this remix, but DallasK took a sick track and made it…sick. Im glad he kept the vocals hot, the only real change was a sweet twist to the beat.

This has to be one of my favorite collaberation duos in dubstep. After hearing “Heavy Artilliary” as Im sure some of you may have, I was sold on their awesomeness. This track is not for those of you who “don’t understand” heavy dubstep, but I have been surprised before.

This is a change of pace from the usual dubstep I post, but this track is incredible. The vocals in the background make you think this is going to be just some slow dubstep track, then the raps drop in. The raps definitely add to the feel of this track.

Good, new (legal) music to post is a little scarce currently. I have literally spent the last 48 hours surfing youtube channels and soundcloud profiles, these two tracks being the most post worthy. Xilent is not a very well known dubstep artist, but I am sure with a track like this things are going to change. The track is a little short, yet enjoyable. No doubt I will be working on an extended edit of this, so stay tuned.

I am not really one for drum & bass to be honest. Drumstep I can do, but I have never heard a drum and bass track I really enjoyed until I found this. I love the reggae vibe going on. The beat has a dubstep bassline in the background which is probably why I enjoy it so much. This track is 4/20 ready.
