Hip-Hop, Videos | Radical Something – California (Official Video)
Posted by GMONEY on October 17, 2011
After getting back from their mini-European tour, Radical Something is ready to hit the ground running. Their latest release is these stunning visuals for the single California off their debut album We Are Nothing (which you can grab on iTunes here). Here is what they had to say about the video:
The video was shot in 2 days against the backdrop of sunny Venice Beach, CA. The song was written and recorded during the final hours of our studio lockdown this past May in Florida. We were inspired by our home state, and wanted to put together a visually stimulating, fun, colorful, and honest depiction of our lives in California.
If that wasn’t enough excitement for ya, well when this video hits 100,000 views, Radical Something will be releasing their next music video, Freedom, which is currently in post production

The highly anticipated release from the newly formed trio consisting of Loggy (Rapper/Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist), Josh Cocktail (Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist), & DJ Big Red (DJ/Producer/Do-It-All Musician) is finally at our fingertips. We have received countless videos, singles, promos, & acoustic jam sessions since the group formed back in the spring and with the warm weather unfortunately coming to a close (for some of us), we have a dosage of Indian Summer than will supplement that brisk fall weather.
Anyone familiar with Radical Something knows they bring a unique, laid back sound to the table. This entire project was done in house among the 3, apart from the one feature from Kinetics (“Be Easy”). Do your part to support the movement as the Radical’s make a push to bring positive change to the world of music. Also, be on the lookout for them coming to a beach, frat, bar, or other venue near you as they set off on the “Are You Radical?” tour.
Preview the full album below & support good music by purchasing it on iTunes for $9.99 [BUY HERE].

Radical Something aka Loggy, Josh Cocktail, and Big Red aka the group that is monopolizing the sound waves reaching your eardrums on these cool summer days, are back at it with their latest single “California.” The formula is simple: mix some feel good lyricism from Loggy with the heart felt crooning of Josh Cocktail and you get one damn good summer vibe. After hitting the blogwaves with Be Easy, Escape , and Long Hair Don’t Care, the release of “California” neatly fits into the growing summer playlist from this super-group.

Albums | Rapper Nate Dogg Dies at Age 41 | Hip-Hop News
Posted by BIGLIFE on March 16, 2011
This is a tragic loss for the music industry. I remember the good old days when Gmoney and I would blast Nate Dogg tracks as we cruised to school like gangsters. In fact it wouldn’t be a stretch to say he was an inspirational factor that led to the creation of FNT… I’ll let HipHopDX take it from here:
One of Hip Hop’s most iconic voices Nate Dogg passed away last night at the age of 41.
Hip Hop suffered another loss late last night, as Long Beach, California news site PressTelegram.com reports that Nathaniel “Nate Dogg” Hale has died at the age of 41.
Although no official cause of death has been announced, the former Death Row alum suffered from two strokes, his most recent one in September 2008.
A number of artists have confirmed Nate’s passing via Twitter, including long-time friend and frequent collaborator Snoop Dogg.

Hip-Hop | Shwayze and Cisco Adler – “The W’s” EP | FEEL GOOD MUSIC
Posted by BIGLIFE on February 2, 2011
I absolutely love this EP – it’s a much needed change of pace for my iTunes library. No surprises here, this self proclaimed stoner/feel good music project definitely lives up to its album stamp and banana beat record production, but what would you expect from two California natives whose careers are adorned with some classic laid-back hits? Here’s what the official website reports:
“The W’s is taking it back to our first record, with all the tools and the knowledge of the future mixed with better weed and hotter women,” said rapper Shwayze.
The new music marks a return to the California stoner hop that made their first album SHWAYZE (#8 debut on Billboard Top 200) strike a generational chord. The laid back beats and sing-a-long melodies provided by producer/singer Cisco Adler are the perfect backdrop for Shwayze’s lazy day flow.

Hip-Hop | Neeks- Fresh On Campus
Posted by Juicebox on October 26, 2010
If you already don’t know, The Neeks are 3 seniors at Bowdoin College from Miami, Dubai, and California. They met at music class while struggling to learn serialism and the 12 tone technique. (Man, that sounds like it sucks) They’re back with a second time with a track that’s a little harder than “Party.edu“. Be sure to check them out on Facebook here. Shout out to FOC!
