Electro, Hip-Hop, Trap | Falcons – Julio (Falcons Remix)
Posted by yabishcic on October 7, 2013
Coming off of a afternoon work shift I was feeling particularly unenthused and tired. I naturally get in my car, light a stog, go to my SoundCloud app and listen to the new music from my feed on my drive home from work to (hopefully) somewhat better my spirits with some good tunes. Today nothing was really catching my attention until I heard Busta Rhymes all-too-familiar tune remixed into this totally dope version somewhere between hip-hop, trap & throwback. #instalove. Falcons never fails me I swear. My mood went from sour to sweet in almost an instant – crazy how a good song can turn your whole day around. Gacias, Senior Falc$. I can now sleep in peace.
Hip-Hop, Reggae, Videos | Vybz Kartel & Busta Rhymes

For the avid Reggae fan, Vybz is a staple of any playlist and arguably the best at this finely tuned craft. Although he’s had his ups and downs over the years, the Jamaican born artist is one of the hottest recording artists to come out of the country. Oddly enough, my two Jamaican “breddas” from work turned me onto Vybz and since summer is upon us, I felt obligated to spread the good word. The video posted above is about a year old, but too fitting for the occasion not to post. In addition, Vybz recently linked up with Bussa Bussa for a reggae inspired hip-hop track not suitable for children under 17. How do I say this…
“Dis is naut sometin’ Mudda shud let Dawta list’n to. Dis dat “eat unda sheet” typa music’ bruddas be playin with pears to. Only dem Skettle bi jookin’!”

Hip-Hop | Busta Rhymes – Why Stop Now (Remix) ft. Chris Brown, Missy Elliot, Lil Wayne
Posted by Grubeats on February 16, 2012
Why stop at Chris Brown when you can have Breezy, Weezy, and the resurged Missy Elliot. Busta announced this bangin’ remix via his Twitter and dropped it exclusively with Flex. Fortunately someone got their hands on it before Flex tagged it up, so here’s the dirty tagless version. Your welcome.

If you’re still trying to decipher the words that came out of young Khaliyl’s mouth, stop. The kid’s only two. I’m sure if he knew how to talk, he would be rolling the ABC’s of rap off his little British tongue. He’s definitely got the body language of rap down and he bobs with the beat. If Tinie Tempah doesn’t sign this kid, Jay-Z better.
In other news, “DANGERRRRR, WATCH YO’SELF,” Mystikal is back and he brought his friend vengeance . Is it just me or is this close to vintage? Just when I thought he had packed his bags, he inks a new deal with Cash Money and debuts this brand new record. Thank you Weezy?

The fifth track off Roscoe Dash’s debut EP, “J.U.I.C.E.” which is set for a a December 20th release. Roscoe & Wale saw unparalleled success with their collab on “No Hands” in which they were both featured on Waka Flocka’s hit track, so once again they link up to deliver an early morning club hit.The second Wale track is a freestyle he did with fellow DMV artist, Black Cobain, who he recently revealed in an interview was one of his favorite up and coming artists. Personally I’ve thought Tyga’s “Rack City” was overhyped and I never really saw the appeal, but clearly the masses think otherwise.

After giving us a new track just a few days ago, Vizzy cuts the lock on another one, this time produced by The Awesome Sound. XV was in the studio with Drama Beats earlier this week and although this track isn’t produced by Drama himself, he’s dedicating it to his #youngandreckless Squarians.

The overwhelming realization that Mystikal still had it nearly knocked me unconscious and when I heard Ashanti was back as well, I almost broke out my Discman and $10 Sony headphones to bring me back to the good-ole-days. Sadly I don’t think we’ll ever hear the Ashanti we grew accustomed to hearing back in the late 90’s and early 00’s, but for a comeback, this isn’t terrible. Her larynx appears to still be in tact and Busta picks up the slack to make this a decent track. Pardon the quality, I’ll share the CDQ once I find it if you’d like.

Hip-Hop | Busta Rhymes ft. Chris Brown – Why Stop Now

Busa Buss, simmer down my man. While the big news of the week was the announcement that Busta Rhymes signed a brand new record deal with YMCMB aka Cash Money (Rapper Mystikal also signed a deal with the label), we couldn’t let this track fall under the radar. At the age of 39, the seasoned vet is still spurring off words faster than ever and this track proves he may be the fastest rapper ever. Teaming up once again with Chris Brown for the first track since they collaborated on Breezy’s single, “Look At Me Now”, the duo looks to set the bar high for Busta’s upcoming album, E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event) 2: End of the World. The album will be the first under his new label and he has also partnered with Google Music, which launched earlier this week, for an exclusive release.
“It’s just amazing to see that they understood what Busta Rhymes means to the music, what Busta Rhymes means to the culture, what Busta Rhymes means to the embodiment of authentic hip-hop,” he explained, after linking with Google to release the new single “Why Stop Now,” which features Chris Brown.”- Busta Rhymes
