While De-Lor is still riding high on the recent release of his debut mixtape, J’adore, opening up for several prominent acts and recently headlining his first show in Boston, he continues to release new visuals from the project. This video gives us a look behind the scenes of Sebastian creating “Cruel”, shot and edited by Arthur Johnson. Although De-Lor has released some electro pop hits, he is no stranger to acoustic instruments and is a very talented musician as well as singer and producer. Maye Star. Now that you’ve heard the name, remember it. The young MC residing in Boston is lyrically infectious. I first caught wind of Maye Star when I saw him open for YONAS several months back in Boston. He proceeded to roll lyrics off his tongue like he had been doing it for years. There’s no question he’s got a rare ability to spit it quick, but it should be known his lyrics hold truth and personality as well. “Go Hard” features fellow Boston artist, Deon Chase, and serves as the newest single off his upcoming mixtape, MayeHam. The project will include features from Moufy as well as Los (who Maye has impressed time and time again at post show cyphers), and FNT regular De-Lor. This may be the first time we’ve featured Maye Star, but it certainly won’t be the last.

A few months back, The Dean’s List teamed up with Red Bull to release an exclusive track. Representing their brand well, Sonny, Mik, and Mendoza delivered a high octane electro/hip-hop track. About a month ago, the two camps teamed up once again to shoot the visuals for the single. They made their way up to the coast of New Hampshire to capture most of the caffeinated visuals with the help of FTS Creative (who has been killing the game with videos lately). I’m not sure if this song will find its way to an official project, but for now you can grab the mp3 below if you don’t already have it.

Yes, you read that correctly, David Ortiz, as in the Boston Red Sox slugger. Moufy has been buzzing like crazy around Boston lately, getting love everywhere around the city including a display of “Boston Lights” on the jumbo-tron at the Patriots game this past weekend. Somewhere in the past few weeks, Moufy linked up with Big Papi & Popchips for a new Beantown promotional anthem. Trust me, I’m just as baffled as you are right now. Berklee College’s own De-Lor hits us with his latest single, in which he recently performed live on the streets of Boston. The single itself, “Beautiful Life”, will appear on his upcoming EP, J’adore, set to drop October 1st, which will also feature guest spots and remixes from Kinetics & One Love and Sex Ray Vision. Per usual, De-Lor provides very eloquent vocals and real meaningful lyrics. Ladies, I know you’re feeling this slow jam, but don’t be a fool to think De-Lor won’t bring some electro heat in the very near future.
