Sometimes Timeflies Tuesday is a new joint you can ride to. Sometimes it’s a tranquil track you can make babies (or non babies) to. Sometimes it’s both. This week Cal and Rez take on Passenger’s 2012 hit, “Let Her Go”. I’m not going to come out and say Cal has the voice of Passenger’s front man, Mike Rosenberg, but they do put one hell of a spin on this international chart topper.

Last week I asked a producer I’ve been keeping my eye on, Sebastian Carter from the UK, if he’d be interested in making an exclusive mix for FNT, which he happily obliged. I personally can’t get enough of this deep house mix he delivered, can’t say that babies were not made during my first listening session. Holy hell! I hate you Jay-Z. When I first heard this song I wasn’t too impressed. Pardon my mistake, the visuals add an entirely new dimension to this song. Although it’s fairly short, Cole knocks his verse and Mrs. Carter is nothing short of great. I’m loving the retro feel to this video, from the clothes to the sound of the track, it’s not the first track of this kind we’ve seen lately (check Elle Varner & J. Cole’s “Only Wanna Give It To You“).
In other news, one of the most anticipated babies of all time, commonly referred to as “Jayonce” will supposedly be a girl. This really is a win win for Jay and Beyonce so congrats to them.
