Hip-Hop | OCD: Moosh & Twist – All Alright
Posted by LoffyG on February 19, 2013
Moosh & Twist just let this new track loose off their upcoming mixtape, “Back To The Basement”, which is set to hit your speakers on March 12th. Sampling “All Alright” by FUN., the guys come with a sound that’s much different than their previous releases. They even use a bit of auto-tune by the sounds of it, but not in a way that is over-the-top. I’m looking forward to hearing the entire project, as well as catching them on the Up To No Good Tour that cracks off this Thurday with Huey Mack! Grab tickets using the link below!
Hip-Hop | Rick Ross ft. Wale, Meek Mill, & T-Pain – Bag Of Money
Posted by GMONEY on March 4, 2012
The big boss, Ricky Ross, is back at it again. This time he’s recruited auto-tune aficionado T-Pain for his first single off his upcoming “Self Made Vol. 2” album. Recently voted “hottest MC” in the world by MTV, Rawse’s star has never shined brighter. Rick Ross, lyrically less technical than his predecessors, proves in this current hip-hop climate, style matters more than substance. His ability to make you feel like a dope king while riding with your watch out the window, however, is a testament to the power of his music. B*tch you wasn’t with him chewing on some ribs. Money over everything. UGHN.
Electro, House | Bailey Smalls and Puma Scorz Ft. Audiogroove

Bailey Smalls, AKA BAI, AKA Thick As Thieves, has been having quite the identity crisis, but that in no way has effected his ability to produce sick tracks. This new remix of his is one of his best for sure. Every time he releases something new, it is better than the previous. Looking forward to what he has in store for us in the future.

This sounds so much better than the original. To be honest, I don’t think Example has all that great of a voice. His voice clashes with almost every beat he covers. You can tell Audiogroove had to use auto-tune to try and sound like Example, but he still sounds better, haha.

Hip-Hop, RnB | T-Pain ft. Wiz Khalifa & Lily Allen – 5 O’clock
Posted by Grubeats on September 9, 2011
How bout another new cut from T-Pain; destination unknown. Receiving assistance from Lily Allen on the hook and a nice verse from Wiz which surprisingly differs from his standard weed n’ party raps, may give this song enough nut to revive his career. No confirmation whether or not this track will be featured on the Nappy Boy’s forthcoming studio album, rEVOLVEr, which is beginning to be placed in company with R.E.D. and Detox for most delayed projects. Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but we’re coming up on 3 years of delays and auto-tune isn’t as cool as it used to be. I’m not sure this song has radio potential quite yet, but if T-Pain doesn’t make a move soon, I see him falling off fast with his buddy Lil Wayne.

This video had me dying. The rosary he’s wearing looks more like a noose. Anyway, below is some new Eminem & Royce which is off their upcoming album Bad Meets Evil.

Here is a track off Wayne’s Tha Carter IV. It was produced by Detail and is full of acoustic guitar and auto-tune. It’s actually not that horrible, I kinda like it.

Paul Markham may be from the ‘burbs, but talk about a mic killer. Paul’s final remix mixtape is coming out February 11th.
Goone made some good use of the auto-tune on this track. Listen and you will be HYPNOTIZED.

Split Second has been releasing some hot tracks for the past month. Only word to describe this remix, FIRE.
Hip-Hop | Wiz Khalifa and Jason Derulo | HIP-HOP

I barely recognized Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy in this video. Seems like he’s come a long ways since the good old chubby days. The featured track of this post is Wiz Khalifa’s latest version of “Big Screen”. He may have abused auto tune a little bit here, has Atlantic started to weigh in a little too much on his style?
