T-Pain ft. Wiz Khalifa & Lily Allen – 5 O’clock

Posted by on September 9, 2011

How bout another new cut from T-Pain; destination unknown. Receiving assistance from Lily Allen on the hook and a nice verse from Wiz which surprisingly differs from his standard weed n’ party raps, may give this song enough nut to revive his career.  No confirmation whether or not this track will be featured on the Nappy Boy’s forthcoming studio album, rEVOLVEr, which is beginning to be placed in company with R.E.D. and Detox for most delayed projects.  Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but we’re coming up on 3 years of delays and auto-tune isn’t as cool as it used to be.  I’m not sure this song has radio potential quite yet, but if T-Pain doesn’t make a move soon, I see him falling off fast with his buddy Lil Wayne.

  • Hi

its as if any poster @ fnt wants comments from people they have to bash lil wayne who has held some of the highest commented topics when someone bashes him cause everyone else in the world disagrees with you, and grubeats if you think lil wayne has “fallen off” then you should consult with 964,000 that bought his cd… dumbass..

@Hi I do think Lil Wayne has fallen since he was released from jail. Sure I give the guy credit for selling a million copies, but how many people that purchased that album has been pleased with it? Honestly, I haven’t heard one person who said it was that good. Why do you think the blogs are buzzing over him selling that many? Because everyone knew it wasnt going to suck, so everyone’s baffled it sold that many copies. Rather than reflecting the quality of the album, those sales were a result of fans expecting a quality project from one of the best artists in the game. People are going to buy his albums because of his reputation and history. Don’t get me wrong, Lil Wayne was once in my top 3 current rappers, but I can’t put him in that light anymore.

Sorry to break your balls, but Lil Wayne isn’t the artist he once was.

@gruBeats 964k means hes fallen off? selling out arenas means hes fallen off? please shut your ignorant mouth. maybe hes not as good as he once was but fallen off is not even close to being true. if you dont like his music thats fine thats your opinion, but claiming hes fallen off is ridiculously ignorant and based on stats and figures.
