Progressive House | Passenger – Let Her Go (Arias Vision)
Posted by Middy on December 23, 2013
Just like that, an artist gets hot and the deluge of remixes and covers begins. Passenger has quickly fallen into that category, but Parisian producer Arias adds a worthy contribution that cuts right through the rest. Arias brings his unique progressive style seen on his tracks this year to this remix, completely refitting the instrumental to his vision and molding the vocals to his sound. He is offering this one up as a freebee to thank everyone for the great year he had, so grab it now!

Hip-Hop, Playlists | Jeff’s 15 Best Hip-Hop Tracks of 2013
Posted by jeffwbaird on December 23, 2013
With the mainstream sound shifting further towards hip-hop (or is it the other way around?) the way it has in 2013, it’s become quite a good climate for rappers. While this year has had its share of successes and rises to fame (see Chance The Rapper, Logic), though, it’s certainly had its share of disappointments. Read on to see my selections as the year’s best work in hip-hop.
Electro-House | Vandalism & FTampa – Yes
Posted by Middy on December 15, 2013
Vicious Records label boss, Vandalism teams up with one of the most talented members on their artist roster, Brazilian producer FTampa to create the festival sized track “Yes”. It has been heavily supported by Dutch wunderkind, Martin Garrix, lending to its festival ready nature, and should see some play as the outdoor dance music events head down under. It has been an outstanding year from FTampa, and look for that to continue in 2014. Remixes come in from Orkestrated & Fredy See.

Pop, RnB | Justin Bieber – Confident (Ft. Chance The Rapper)
Posted by dshaq on December 9, 2013
Chance the Rapper and Justin Bieber together on a track is now a thing. The two have joined forces to go in on this absolute ladies anthem. Smoother than a baby’s bottom, Bieber’s vocals steal the show and show his maturation as an artist especially with enlisting talent such as Chance the Rapper for a feature. Chance’s verse is a perfect way to let the world know who he is. He dropped a great verse but made sure it was Bieber’s spotlight.
Deep House | Alina Baraz & Galimatias – Make You Feel (Masq Remix)
Posted by Mach on December 5, 2013
Versatility is important to me when I think of an artist. Sure they are great in one style, but is it so wrong to want to experience more from them? Lately I have been introducing Masq as an up and coming Neuro-Hop producer, but that is not all that he can do. He just dropped this wonderful Nu-Disco remix of Alina Baraz & Galimatias “Make You Feel”. One can not help but get lost into the deep vibes on this remix.

Deep House, Pop | Marlene – Bon Voyage (1987 Remix)
Posted by VMan on December 3, 2013
This summer I shared this track “Bon Voyage” by Marlene, a Swedish pop artist, and called out for remixes, considering the acapella was up for free download. Fast forward a few months and my call was answered with 4 official remixes by Niklas Bergwall, Thomas Eriksen, 1987, and Rambo Hollywood. Out of all the remixes, the one that stood out to me the most was 1987’s. 1987 toned down the vocals, and slowed the track down overall giving it a deep house feel. This is Marlene’s first single, and I’m excited to hear more from her. This is a must listen!
