Dutch producers and aspiring poets, Mason are preparing to release their upcoming artist album ZOA. We are happy to present the full version of “Salamander”, the final tune on the album 2 weeks before its September 1st release. “Salamander” is carried by whimsical and playful synths that fits it right in with the atmosphere with the rest of the work and places it right at the end. I have listened through 3 times and it is stunning. I don’t say that lightly because of all of the hype it has gotten in past few months leading up to its August 12th release date. The first single off Steve Angello’s upcoming album is out and it is as awesome as one would expect. The superb vocals and radio ready production destine this song to commercial success, much like how “Don’t You Worry Child” was. It’s not a huge surprise for there to be a song or two from the album that is catered to the mainstream and this is one of them. Even so, it’s a great track and a smart way to reintroduce the world to Steve Angello, the solo artist.

The sky is blue and you should too. Ok that made no sense, but it doesn’t matter. Above & Beyond are thankfully much better at just about everything music related than me, including songwriting, and “Blue Sky Action” is their latest tune that is pitch perfect for the summer months. It is the first single from their upcoming album, out early next year so get your mind and bodies ready for that.

Studnation is back and it appears Mike is closer than he’s ever been with his latest album, Closer. In May, Mike released a video to let his fans know about his new album release. The teaser reflects on the journey Mike has made from being a star baseball prospect to an even bigger prospect as a musician. This album shows growth and maturity in Mike’s life and music. He is most focused on being happy and letting the success follow. Does he have room to grow and improve? Most certainly he does, but even Mike knows he has a long journey ahead of him.

Think this kid has a chip on his shoulder? That’s an understatement. Cuey wants to drop this album even more than you and I want to hear it. No doubt has it been a long road, but I can finally taste it. As you’ll see in his newest video, Cue is rapping with an edge. He’s hungry. He’s boiling over. He’s ready to prove the naysayers wrong and elevate himself as one of the elite. “This View From Here” is exactly what I’ve been waiting for. You can see the anticipation for this album burning through his eyes and ringing through his voice. With Just Blaze signed on as the executive producer for the album, I can guarantee this will be one of the highlights of 2014.

Sticky Fingers may be Above & Beyond’s best single since “Sun & Moon”. The original is just that good. The trio are still show stopping with their mind bending Acoustic album. In addition to the Pierce Fulton remix that just released and the Lane 8 effort that came out with the single, we have a freebee from NYC pairing Peter Brennan & TCUP.
