Before everyone gets too excited, I’m obligated to tell all of you that this is not an actual song. The song will come at some point in the next 5 days, and expect it to be on FNT within 7 seconds of its release. This brief video is a small look into Justin Timberlake’s musical mind. This dude has been crazy busy, juggling acting, music, and reviving washed up social media websites. Good to hear how much of perfectionist he is, which gives me hope that his album(rumored to be produced by Timberland), will be nothing less than the best. Check out the black and white minute video above and be on the lookout for a J-Tim drop on SUNDAY.
Also, for the sake of news, Destiny’s Child also announced that they will be releasing a new song to add to their career compilation, “Love Songs.” The track will be produced by Virginia native Pharrell and will feature the last 3 members of DC, the trio of Beyoncé, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. Looks like 2013 is the year of the comeback. Be on the lookout for that release on January 29th.

Holy biscuits, Cal and Rez just made gravy out of Ke$ha’s chart topping single, “Die Young”. Back to the old school Timeflies Tuesday format, Cal freestyle’s topics from the infamous basket supplied by Rez… like he actually freestyles. Since the Mayan’s are a bunch of goons who can’t get their predictions straight, the fellas thought it was only appropriate to remix this lively track feeding off apocalypse movies & songs and Twinkies, of course. Most of our avid readers know Collin McLoughlin as an incredible singer and songwriter whose has been crushing covers of the biggest names in the industry. However, what most of you proabbly don’t know is that he is also a very talented producer, and in his latest cover of OneRepublic’s upcoming smash single If I lose Myself he shows us just how good he is.
His crispy clean vocals and uplifting melodic dubstep breaks, truly show us a new side to this musician. I look forward to seeing what he has in store for us in 2013..

In a saturated digital age, we sometimes forget the power of pen on papyrus. In his heartwarming track off his 2012 EP, The 4th Chapter, the NYC native Jared Evan pours his heart onto the paper illustrating his emotions in the form of “Letters”. Coming clean through his gravitating vocals, the multi talented musician reminds us he is a rapper at heart, dropping the third verse in rap form, reiterating his feelings through his newly scripted letters.
There’s a lot on the horizon for Jared. I can tell you for certain he has a joint project on the way with Statik Selektah titled “Boom Bap & Blues” along with some collaborative work with Hoodie Allen and likely another original, solo project.

I never realized how awkwardly entertaining life looks in rewind until I watched this video.
Awkward or not, Timeflies have themselves yet another hit. The caveman club smash featured on their recent chart topping EP, One Night, is almost as cool at the dime piece pole dancing swooning on the American flag in the backdrop of this video. Anyone else feel like “swoon” is one of those interchangeable adjectives that can virtually be placed anywhere in a sentence? Verbs too, actually.
