The last time we heard from the kings of good vibes ACADEMY it was about 9 months ago when they dropped their sophomore EP The Beat Generation. While The Beat Generation was a phenomenal seven track EP, none of that collective project can begin to touch the masterpiece that is Panoramic. The Los Angeles based duo teamed up with Jackson Breit for a record that has all the vibes of Summer and all the feels of a radio hit. Stay tuned as ACADEMY and Jackson are hitting the road this Spring with William Bolton and Dylan Reese.

Albums, Artists, Pop | Leah Haxhi Drops Emotional Single, FOREVER

Posted by on March 15, 2016

Forever is an original song written by NYC Singer/Songwriter Leah Haxhi, produced & mixed by Mike Irish in Brookyln, NY. This is a pop smash with flares of r&B and hip-hop elements, written for anyone who’s doubted the longevity of love. Forever is a very long time away….

This song is so flames. lil aaron hops on the DJ SoySauce produced-cut “Bout Time” for an inspirational upbeat collab that goes harder than ever. Molding together their go to style of production, a wavy trap infused electronic style, combined together with lil aaron’s Post Malone esce vocal stylings it’s sounding like a real hit. Check it out!

DO SOMETHING

Pop | Era Istrefi “Bonbon” Is Going To Be Huge!

Albania has been a hot plate for superstars, producing the likes of Bebe Rexha, Rita Ora, and the gorgeous Action Bronson, but no lie, those 3 artists have nothing on Era Istrefi and her single “Bonbon,” reminiscent of Rihanna meets Major Lazer’s “Lean On” but 300 times better. I caught the original video a few weeks back when it had 20 million views, and at the looks of it, having a knack for signing hits, Ultra Music picked it up. I’ll let you experience this video/track on your own, all my ladies, you’re going to dig this hard. My fellas, you’re going to fall in love. This is a must listen, and a must watch!

Electronic, Pop | Eljay’s “Love So Fine” is Out Now via Lush Records

Posted by on February 24, 2016

Lush Records debut release is a spectacular pop meets electronica hybrid called “Love So Fine” by Eljay Featuring Deverano.  The futuristic production style by Eljay will grasp your attention but Deverano’s melodic vocal stylings and catchy hook will have you playing this one over and over. Keep an eye on future releases through Lush Records, I see a big year of solid content for them.

Alternative, Pop | New on the scene: Cruel Youth impresses with “Mr. Watson”

Posted by on February 19, 2016

English vocalist Teddy Sinclair is not afraid to say what she’s thinking. Her band Cruel Youth has broken on the scene with a powerful opening statement titled “Mr. Watson”. The song resembles Amy Winehouse’s storytelling-songwriting style, as well as Sinclair’s vocal tone.

Certainly not a comparison I throw around lightly, Cruel Youth is one to keep an eye on.
