Future Trap, Pop | Rubayne Drops Charismatic Remix For chillpill’s “FUCK THE CLUB” Featuring GOLDN
Posted by VMan on December 4, 2020
Fresh off his massive release “A Little” on Magic Records, Dutch talent Rubayne is back with his first-ever official remix, showcasing his unique spin on chillpill’s “FUCK THE CLUB” featuring rising artist GOLDN, coming to digital platforms via Atlantic Records / Big Beat. A mysterious rapper and producer chillpill burst into the scene earlier this year with his debut, feel-good single “FUCK THE CLUB,” and is now enlisting a roster of up-and-coming artists to remix the single.
For his uplifting remix, Rubayne pitches down the original vocals, while infusing the single with infectious party energy. In between his hard-hitting beats, laid out beautifully within the arrangement, Rubayne showcases his sound design and vocal copping skills, crafting a stunning combination of future bass and pop that’s definitely going to be getting a lot of attention from fans and new listeners alike.
“‘After discovering the song in the late summer, I immediately felt how to interpret my vibe and sound in it. I decided to go for an extraverted approach by making a party-trap production that gave enough room for the vocals as well as the melodic texture,” explains Rubayne.

Mauvey’s silky yet raspy vocals feel dream-like. The talented artist is never afraid to pour out what is on his mind and state what everyone thinks. When speaking about “Way too good,” Mauvey says, “Way Too Good is about being convinced that what you feel is love, it’s desperate, delusional and doesn’t care about anyone else’s opinion…you made a pact and neither of you are going anywhere.’ Check out “Way Too Good” above now and stream his full ‘Vancouver’ by clicking here.
Pop | British Rising Artist Felix Drops “Getaway”
Posted by VMan on December 3, 2020
UK based singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Felix is back with a Pop infused jam that is undeniably infectious. “Getaway” is a catchy, mood-boosting and relatable record, written and recorded during the pandemic that follows Felix’s frustrations of being cooped up. Check out a quote from him below and check out the new single above!
“Getaway is a song about how much lockdown made me need a holiday to have a break from being sat in the same 4 walls for 6 months. I got really sick of the zoom calls, not being able to see my mates and not getting out playing shows. I wrote and produced it all in my bedroom which made it a little easier being locked in, but I still really want a holiday.”

Collaborating with Sean Terrio for the release, ‘Take My Time’ sees the artist deliver a wonderfully fresh and vibrant new release. Channeling a rich and diverse aesthetic, which sees him borrow from the worlds of indie-pop, soul, and classic disco, his newest delight will firmly fix a smile to your face from start to finish. Listen and watch the visual above now and read a quote from YASSiN on the release below now.
“Take My Time was written in the early months of quarantine, on a dark rainy day. I wrote this song as an escape from the circumstances of the world. It is a love song that embodies the pure joy of being with someone you love. It has a hint of silliness to it. It is a dreamers song about forgetting the complications of the world and feeling free with your partner. I say at the beginning of the track “Maybe stand a little closer” Which is something I hope people do when they dance to this one. It’s also me dreaming of the day where we don’t have to be 6 feet apart from each other. This song to me is about true love that you’d spend a life waiting for, hope that gets you up and has you moving forward even in bleak days, and pure ridiculous fun.” – YASSiN
Alternative, Pop | Mokita & Mike Kinsella Collaborate for “Sleepwalking”

“Sleepwalking” by Mokita and Mike Kinsella (of the cult followed, indie rock band American Football) is a hybrid new release by the two that blends elements of emo / acoustic rock and indie pop with a minor electronic influence. The hybrid collaboration is a beautifully sad sounding song that once again shows off Mokita’s skill-set as a songwriter and creator. The more music this underdog drops, the more tuned in I get! Electronic, Pop, Trap | JVANZ Drops Timeless And Emtionally Dynamic EP ‘Lane Change’
Posted by VMan on November 30, 2020
Boasting a 5-track treasure trove of rich ups and emotional downs, Lane Change EP is jam-packed with so many relatable, immersive moments that it’s overflows with pleasure right where it should.
With wide-audience leaning sounds and hooks abound, like “Mi Amor,” to a more testimonial-leaning minor-chord vibe, like in “Timeless,” the spectrum offered with the highly catchy multi-genre journey is dynamic.
Lane Change EP overall encompasses hitting ‘go’ rather than ‘stop,’ pushing forward rather than giving in, and so on. A high point in meaningful messaging expressed on the EP.
“I wrote ‘Water’ during these tough times we are all facing around the world. I struggled as many others have too, knowing what’s true or false these days. With all the fake news and false information spreading on social media, ‘what do I believe’ and at the end of the day we have to push through all the information and remain true to finding who we are and what we believe in.. ‘gotta be better for me’.”
– Jvanz
With an enticing music video to match for, “Water,” the spectrum of unique content paired with EP is another category to highlight, as a positive, for the artist.
