Electro-House, House | Birthdayy Partyy Release New Single With Insomniac / Discovery Project
Posted by VMan on October 27, 2018
The Birthdayy Partyy brothers are back at it again, which is to be expected since they’ve been releasing music nearly every two weeks since mid-January. This time around things are a little different given that they are releasing with a label. The generally independent duo keep in ties with Insomniac through the Discovery Project label who took to releasing “The Get Down” by our favorite twins. I do have to say, this may be my favorite Birthdayy Partyy record so far, but it is hard to choose given the plethora of great tracks they have. So click that play button and if you haven’t heard more Birthdayy Partyy, raid their Soundcloud now!
House | Kenny Hectyc Drops New Remixes For ‘All This Time’
Posted by VMan on October 19, 2018
Kenny Hectyc and Katie Holmes-Smith are back, following up on their summertime smash, “All This Time‘, with a brand new pack of remixes. Both artists based in the UK delivered on the original, with Katie delivering a power-packed, soulful performance, while Kenny brought a smooth UK House vibe to the track. The melodic and bubbly release saw both artists bringing their A-game, creating a memorable tune that can work in nearly every setting.
Now bringing some new flames to the release, they have brought in a team of remixers to turn up the heat. Push3r, Radio Smash, Midnight City (UK), Espinal & Nova and Lionis each take a turn flipping the release, putting their personal spin on the tune. While Kenny’s presence can still be felt in each mix and Katie Holmes-Smith still dominates vocally, each producer takes things in a whole new direction. Summer may be over, but this back it just warming up. Check it.
House | Kantor Unleashes House-Inspired Remix Of Miss Janni ‘s “Lucid Dreams”
Posted by VMan on October 5, 2018
Kantor, formally known as 5 & A Dime, is following up his debut original “Bodies” with a tech-deep influenced vibe “Lucid Dreams (Kantor Remix)” originally by Miss Janni. The release is an official remix on Warner Music Hong Kong and focuses on one electronic genre most beloved by the globe: house music. With grace and sophistication, the remix delivers on a fresh feel to Miss Janni’s initial direction.
Kantor’s shows are just as much of a highlight, using a custom DDR inspired dancepad to control his live music, via samples programmed into each button in front of an audience. Undoubtedly, few have attempted to bring about a music experience such as this, let alone successfully funnel down through the logistics process to make it to a venue and successfully attempt it. Kantor will certainly have more content follow up in no time.
Bass, Electronic, Hip-Hop, House | Saladin & MC Flipside Team Up for G House Banger ‘Don’t Interrupt Me’
Posted by VMan on September 14, 2018
Following hot on the heels of his recent single, “Far Enough”, Saladin is back along with prolific Toronto artist MC Flipside with a massive collaboration titled, “Don’t Interrupt Me”.
Together, Saladin & MC Flipside deliver a heavy, hard-hitting jam that features grimy basslines and attitude filled lyrics bringing some major cross-over appeal. Built for the clubs but accessible to Hip Hop heads the new tune fires on all cylinders.
Individually both artists have already seen some major success. Saladin, a billboard charting producer, often finds support from heavyweight artists like Paul Van Dyke, Don Diablo, DJ BL3ND, Ummet Ozcan and Knife Party (to name a few), thanks to his original production and ability to craft crowd-moving remixes and originals.
MC Flipside on the other hand has previously released collaborations with deadmau5, MDE, Funkagenda, Kid Massive, Roger Sanchez, Bart B More, Joey Suki, Carlo Lio, Garmiani (and many more), often landing at the top of the charts in nearly every digital store. Together, both Saladin and MC Flipside are at their best on the new release.

Ambient, Chill, Electronic, House, Indie, Pop | GIANNI MARINO AND BOY PROBLEMS PREMIERE EPIC COLLABORATION FEATURING ILY ON FNT
Posted by VMan on September 7, 2018
Gianni Marino has been making musical waves and registering in dance blog databases for the last few years at least. I was just reading today about a song that came out from him in 2016 and it’s no surprise that today the youthful artist is still dropping monsters when it comes to singles. “Can You Hear Me” is a significant collaboration between Gianni, brand new artist Boy Problems and the amazing Swedish pop singer ILY. We tend to learn more about these artists as they keep releasing music and it seems that they are finally making that transition towards mainstream pop.
It’s really exciting to get the opportunity to premiere this vocal anthem today. “Can You Hear Me” is an evidently 80s inspired pop r&b song with an lyrical top line pumping the whole time. Boasting a unique twist on their pop production style, these artists are sitting pretty in a world of generic sounding singles going live every Friday.

Bass, House | Lektrique Drops EP With Epic Sam Lamar Collab
Posted by VMan on September 6, 2018
The Belgian producer Lektrique has long been a creative that has pushed bass music forward despite not being a name that everyone may recognize at first mention. The Kannibalen Records mainstay and radio host is taking his career to the next level, not only with epic tracks including the two that make up his Black Magic EP, but he has recently moved to Los Angeles to hold things down on the West coast. Now, the move doesn’t work for everyone, but given his talents and the success he’s already had, he’s set to flourish. Just take this first project since the relocation as an example of what’s to come. Both tracks, including the Sam Lamar collab, are next level and we’re sure to see the bar raise even further soon.
Bass, House | Bonez Drops Debut Bass House-Influenced Release “ILTWYD”
Posted by VMan on August 29, 2018
A blend of haunting production, filthy bass house influence, and ferocious 808 bits sprinkled in-between interact as Bonez unleashes his debut single “ILTWYD.” Not much is known about this new alias, but an upcoming New Era EP later this year and an innate love of dance music seemingly portray as his main traits. Given this is Bonez debut single and the multiple influences found within, he is laying down a spectrum of sounds prime for expanding on, hopefully seen on newly announced EP.
Keep an eye out for more new stuff from the soloist sooner than you think. Click through the the title above for more info about Bonez.
