Chachi and Musicman Ty sent over an ill Biggie remix, sampling the classic “and party & bullshit” line and it’s mad ill, plus they did it 1000 times better than Rita Ora, sorry Rita, so I had to get on this premiere! Sprinkling West Coast vibes over ambient trap, B.I.G.’s East coast flow brings the track alive for everyone’s late night bullshitting and partying. I’m loving vibes on this one, it makes you wonder what Notorious would sound like if he was alive today, and what kind of tracks he’d be spitting on, either way it’s a must listen and a must download!

The homie Thero hit me up the other day about a track I had shared on my personal Facebook and he was completely mesmerized by the record he had to remix it! Note, Only Girl’s “Feel It” was released 4 days ago to show you how fast the young producer from Palm Beach hopped on the remix, and so with no more introduction, the man who was discovered off a sponsored post with his chill-house, tropical-house remix of George Acosta’s “We All Get Lost Sometimes” on this very site, hits us with a premiere of his biggest remix to date in my opinion, folks enjoy this gorgeous remix of Only Girl’s “Feel It” by Thero! This is a must listen!

Featured, Hip-Hop, RnB | William Bolton – Summer Breeze
Posted by yabishcic on August 27, 2014
Most of you are experiencing the summer blues right about now, heading back to school, switching out your swim suits for backpacks, iced teas for early morning coffees and leaving your summer haze behind in the dust of your newfound, everyday routine. And my guess is most of your aren’t too enthused about this reality either. Summer is the one time of year that we wished would go on for an eternity, that if we only got to lounge and day dream all day everyday..life would be perfect. Yes, it can’t go on forever and most folks don’t have to luxury of lounging their lives away, but whatever you’re doing today, you’re going to want to go to a place that takes you back to your summer memories and hang on to 37 minutes and 12 seconds of the summer that is left, graciously bestowed upon you by “Summer Breeze“.
As William Bolton‘s debut album, the end result is breathtaking. It’s been a crazy year for Bolton, but also a challenging one, which is why he wanted to channel his energy into a project that would take him away from the everyday headaches of mundane life and soar him into the fantasies of summer. Through each unique beat and meticulously written lyric, Bolton hopes to release the tension in your brain and give you back that little sensation of summer while it can still last in hopes to help you out like this project helped him.
If you’ve been update-to-date with Bolton and his music endeavors, you know that he’s been on a steady mission to release singles here and there to help ease our ears into his eclectic style, but this is the sum of all projects, the end of the beginning so to speak. Though this is only Bolton’s first album, it’s a heady project with songs for all ages, which only makes me suspect that there will be much more to come from this young artist. Until then, snap on those headphones and take a deep breath, and let your mind become released into the warm, welcoming world of summer all over again.
Electronic, Exclusive, Featured | Premiere: Lincoln Jesser – Untold
Posted by Middy on August 26, 2014
You may not be totally familiar with the name Lincoln Jesser, but that is probably going to change soon and his past work is a good indication of that. He previously toured the world as the guitarist of YUNA. Having split off to form his own project a year ago, Lincoln Jesser is finally ready to unveil his final, completed work to the world in the form of an artist album “Modern Color” on September 23rd.
As the singer, songwriter and producer on the album, Lincoln Jesser gives his work an authentic feel in a sound that is by default very manufactured. With its heavy emphasis on synths and mellow, even vocals, Lincoln Jesser has given us just the right teaser for what should be a cracker of an album.
If you pre-order the album, you will get an instant download of “Untold”, which you can only stream right here, right now. Also check him out at any of the dates below that is most convenient. Pre-order the album on iTunes now.
