Abstract Hip-Hop, Exclusive, Hip-Hop, Rap, Videos | Marc Goone – Hunger ft. Futuristic (prod. by Aaron Zuckerman)
Posted by J_Salzer on November 27, 2012
Marc Goone, one of my favorite up and comers, is dropping his first exclusive video with Fresh New Tracks. We’ve posted his music before, yet have never had the opportunity to have an exclusive release. I really think Marc is on to something with his music, and Aaron Zuckerman has crafted his last couple of beats perfectly. I was discussing with my brother, a Potholes in My Blog writer, how opinion based music is. I really enjoy Marc’s music, but any one of you could hate it, and I think people have a hard time accepting that other people could enjoy something that they don’t enjoy. But my grievances against internet bullies can be discussed on a later date, with a full, multi page post. But for now, check out the awesome video above, and follow Marc on Twitter, you won’t regret it.
Electro-House, Exclusive | Audrey Napoleon – Poison (Moore’s Cure Mix)
Posted by Middy on November 25, 2012
After a few somewhat lackluster productions, Moore returns with a quality remix of Audrey Napoleon’s single “Poison”. He kicks it off with a gradual build layered with Audrey Napoleon’s vocals that plummets into a grinding electro drop, chugging bass line and chopped vocal bits. The young Atlanta native continues his attempt at trying to paving his way through this crowded dance music field, and with a more consistent output, that very well could happen.
Dubstep, Exclusive | Bon Iver – Woods (Zeds Dead Remix)
Posted by Middy on October 1, 2012
Toronto duo, DC & Hooks, better known as Zeds Dead have come through with this smooth dubstep remix of Bon Iver’s 2008 track “Woods”. Since the original did not have an instrumental component and just used various vocals to create the harmony of the song, Zed’s Dead had a lot of freedom and room for creativity as to what they wanted to do. They kept the original relaxed feel of the track, going for a more minimal percussive approach, adding low oscillating bass, distorted synths and ambient keys, all of which allow Bon Iver’s vocals to shine through and stand out.

Exclusive, House | Henrix – Miami Heaters EP Vol. 1
Posted by Middy on October 1, 2012
Henrix as an ode to his much adored Miami Heat has put out this free 5 track EP, taking us on a journey from more stripped down percussion heavy drops to those anthemic, big room hands in the air moments. Henrix has become a name to watch after latest single “Let’s Rave” as well as his upcoming single “Hit It” with GTA and Digital Lab that was just signed to a major label and another track getting signed to Mixmash. The EP starts with “Encore” a stripped down festival sized track that follows in the same manner as “Let’s Rave” with the big, anticipatory build and then pounding, reverbed drums come exploding out at you as the drop hits. “Are You Ready”, “Bonkers” and “Destiny” utilize grinding synth chords to accentuate well formulated bass lines, creating high energy tracks. “King” brings me back a little to his old work as Pedro Henriques, going for the big room sound, while still showing the evolution that has come with the name change in Henrix. This is an EP filled with superb, varied bass lines and a diverse and unique sound. Henrix continues to impress with each passing production, so don’t sleep on this EP or him as he continues to make waves this year and into the future.
Exclusive, Featured, Progressive House | Stereoshock – Hasselhoff’s Fantasia Island (Stereoshock Fresh New Tracks Edit)
Posted by Middy on September 25, 2012
Stereoshock is not only a producer who has a nack of layering the melodies of different songs to create something new and unexpected, but also is the host of his own weekly podcast Electric Nightlife where he plays some of the biggest tracks from the week and interviews an aritst or player in the industry ranging from Nervo to Bassjackers to Peter Luts. Much like his previous edit, he layers and blends the tracks like few do with the recent single from Project 46 “Hasselhoff” and Alex Addea, F*** N’ Size’s “Fantasia”. While it is true that the vocals from “The Island” have become a bit overused, it flows impeccably in harmony with the two tracks, adding just the touch to make the track a must have. An original is coming soon from the young New York producer, so be on the look out for that one. Heart the track on HypeM below.

FNT favorite, D!RTY AUD!O is back again with another exclusive Moombahton original for you guys. After hearing the preview of this track a few months back I new I had to get this exclusive for the FNT fans. With many artist who were originally releasing Moombahton now creating Trap there are only a few I can count on to keep the good Moombah flowing and D!RTY AUD!O is one of them. This track has a great overall feel to it with a nice sample of a Brazilian track as well as a Dirty Dutch/ Moombah infused drop to get the crowd going. We were able to sit down and interview this young talent as well, which can be read by clicking the ‘Read On’ link below.

Posted by LoffyG on September 2, 2012
If you didn’t already know, Huey Mack is on his first headlining tour. He made a stop by Minnesota so we met up to kick it and shoot another interview. We also called up Mod Sun to meet Huey for the first time, although they’ve been on a track together. After the show we took the party to Mod Sun’s home studio where Huey recorded a verse on an awesome Riff Raff/Mod Sun track. This video includes the “Uncovered” interview along with a short recap of that night.
