Chill, Electronic | Experimental vibes take over on Golden Vessel’s new single “Less~More”
Posted by VMan on August 29, 2017
Ahead of the release of his ‘Right/Side’ EP at the end of September, Australian producer Golden Vessel has returned with “Less~More,” with fellow Australian artists OKBADLANDS. Experimental vibes take over with a mix of juxtaposing elements, sleek instrumentals, and ambient vocals to create a hazy yet heavily addicting track.
The single comes in tandem with the release of the single’s official video filled with retro vibes and shot between Digital, 16mm, VHS, photos + more formats. Must watch above!
Electronic | Crankdat Shines on Debut Solo Single ‘Dollars’
Posted by VMan on August 25, 2017
In just two years, Crankdat has toured three continents and raked in over 150+ million streams. During that time, he has only released bootlegs, official remixes and a few collaborations…until then. The super talented 20-year-old now delivers his debut solo single, “Dollars”, and bets big on a vibrant melodic sound. And in our opinion, Crankdat wins big too. While “Dollars” is a departure from his heavy, floor-rumbling trap and dubstep style, he finds the perfect medium between festival banger and pop radio that makes you want to jam and go hard at the same time. The young gun recently signed to Asylum under Warner Music Group and seems to be making big moves with the recent announcement of joining Krewella on tour as well. The hype is real. Crankdat is here to stay and is just getting started. Enjoy his new song “Dollars”!
Electronic | Ben Phipps crosses Pop and Electronic genres with “Mrs Mr”
Posted by VMan on August 25, 2017
NYC producer Ben Phipps is straddling his own genre lines. Not one to be defined by genres, his latest release “Mrs Mr” is a fun new collaboration with LA-based vocalist Lizzy Land. Soaring vocals meet soaring melodies on this fun number. It’s a must listen!
Electronic | Kai Straw Explodes Onto The Electronic Scene With “Supernova”
Posted by VMan on August 16, 2017
Kai Straw has been somebody who has been putting out some of the best indie/pop music you can find. He’s not stopping anytime soon, but he’s branched out with his latest single by bringing his signature flare to dance music. “Supernova” is about as future pop as it gets, with Kai’s amazing voice mingling itself between soaring synths provided by the producers Shokace and James Tha Bear. This single follows Kai’s #1 Hypem track “The Recipe” that I couldn’t get enough of. “Supernova’ is out now, but will be subsequently included on Kai’s upcoming album GUN, due out at the end of Summer.
Electronic, Remix | VenessaMichaels Nostalgic Remix EP Is All You Need
Posted by VMan on August 15, 2017
VenessaMichaels has just come out with what may be her biggest project to date. One of LA’s best talents released a massive remix EP for free, complete with her take on classics like “Grind With Me” and “Hit ‘Em Up Style” along with others. Instead of just dropping all the tracks on Soundcloud, she put together a mini-mix, with the download containing every treat involved in the project. NOW That’s What I Call 2090 invokes the nostalgia of the memorable compilation series. All together this project is all you need for the week. Leave it to Venessa to do something this major.

Electronic, Videos | Listen to Ojivolta’s Epic Portugal. The Man Flip
Posted by VMan on August 3, 2017
On this one Portugal. The Man gets flipped on their asses, in the best way possible. Ojivolta are a duo comprised of a production affiliate of the G.O.O.D. Music imprint (Oji) and a studio shadow of The Neptunes (Volta), who come to create an incredibly rare style of music that molds together pop, electronic, and hip-hop music into one bold soundscape. Leaving the original vocals relatively untouched, the duo decided to craft their own hard hitting instrumental that has one of the coolest lead synth sounds I’ve heard in a long while. Listen and watch above now.
