After receiving a cosign from the one and only Ellie Goulding the other week for his remix of DJ Shwann & ComletJ’s “Bushido” (can be streamed below as well), the young Miami producer Nexus is back with a brand new original track entitled “We Got It” featuring none other than Hi-Rez and Kyle. The track demonstrates a new side for the talented producer fusing together hip hop and melodic dubstep to create an amazing summer jam. Great Skies releases one incredible tune after another. I don’t get how he remains so consistant, but I should just shut up and enjoy haha. Follow this guy, I have no doubt he will continue his trend of releasing great tunes.

Coyote Kisses have been laying a little low over the past few months, and I am excited to know why now. This is just a little peak at what to expect from their upcoming EP, “Thundercolor”. Again, they come in with an awesome electric guitar and some melodic bass. I hate how short previews are, but what can you do but put this sucker on repeat until your ears bleed. Coyote Kisses’ “Thundercolor” EP officially releases on May 5th.

When looking for amazing melodies and production, look no further than Pegboard Nerds. Having teamed up with the rising star Tristam and the guys over at Monstercat to release this amazing Mid-tempo track, there is no stoping them. Their tracks are so unique and well produced its hard not to be addicted to their style and aggressiveness. Approaching almost the halfway point in the year, if I were to say there is one artist to look out for in 2013 it is undoubtedly the Pegboard Nerds. Nothing but quality comes from this duo and it is all inspiring work.

I couldn’t believe my ears when I woke up this morning to this free download from the legendary Emalkay. I can’t recall how many times I have heard this monstrous tune played out and how many times my jaw has dropped. This tune has been on my hit list for over a year now and finally having made my week, even my month. I love everything about this tune, and couldn’t believe he decided to just give it away for free. When an artist of this caliber gives away what is easily one of his best tunes, alongside Fabrication, you know they aren’t in the business for the fame and money. I would highly recommend everyone grab this tune, because it is a memorable one.

Dubstep | Nostalgia – The Hero VIP

Nostalgia might not be one of the most well known artist, but man does he know how to write some sick tunes. ‘The Hero’ was the first tune I heard from him, taking the Zelda theme and giving it his own heavy spin. Now releasing the VIP, he showcases just how much his production has grown as an artist. Listening to the original, then this VIP we clearly get to see the progress dubstep has made. In the original he showcases that old school one wobble/Nero sort of drop, but in this VIP he goes all out with a new crazy synth and melody. The kick and snare in this VIP have a much more punchy transient as well compared to the original, which helps add a more thunderous impact.
